PREFACE

First of all, the writer would like to express the gratitude to Allah SWT for the blessing to finish this final report with the title “Making Virtual Tour Video Script of Benteng Kuto Besak Palembang”. This final report is written to fulfill the requirement of final report project in English Department of State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya.

The writer also would like to thanks to everyone who helped the writer to finish this final report, especially for the writer’s advisors who have given much suggestion, support, and time. The writer also realize that this final report is still far from being perfect, but the writer welcomes any suggestion to make this final report is better. Finally, the writer hopes this final report will be useful for the readers as the reference.

ABSTRACT

MAKING VIRTUAL TOUR VIDEO SCRIPT OF BENTENG KUTO BESAK PALEMBANG

The goal of this research is to apply the steps of virtual tour video script of Benteng Kuto Besak. This report is used to find complete information about Benteng Kuto Besak by video script of Benteng Kuto Besak Palembang. The methodology of this research is Research and Development from Sukmadinata (2015). This final report modified and developed the Research and Development method into three steps: Preliminary Study, Model Development, and also Final Product Testing. The problem formulation in this report was formulated into a question: How to make Virtual Tour Video Script of Benteng Kuto Besak Palembang. The research instruments used, first Preliminary Study: literature study, field survey, model draft. Second, model development consisted of limited testing and wider testing.

Based on the finding, the writer made a virtual tour video script of Benteng Kuto Besak Palembang. It is concluded that the video script may give knowledge and information to the readers about Benteng Kuto Besak Palembang.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menerapkan langkah-langkah pembuatan video script virtual tour Benteng Kuto Besak. Laporan ini digunakan untuk mencari informasi lengkap tentang Benteng Kuto Besak dengan video script Benteng Kuto Besak Palembang. Metodologi penelitian ini adalah Research and Development dari Sukmadinata (2015). Laporan Tugas Akhir ini memodifikasi dan mengembangkan metode Research and Development menjadi tiga tahap: Studi Pendahuluan, Pengembangan Model, dan juga Pengujian Produk Akhir. Rumusan masalah dalam laporan ini dirumuskan menjadi sebuah pertanyaan: Bagaimana Membuat Video Script Virtual Tour Benteng Kuto Besak Palembang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan, pertama Studi Pendahuluan: studi pustaka, survei lapangan, draft model. Kedua, pengembangan model terdiri dari pengujian terbatas dan pengujian yang lebih luas. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penulis membuat video script virtual tour Benteng Kuto Besak Palembang. Disimpulkan bahwa video script dapat memberikan pengetahuan dan informasi kepada pembaca tentang Benteng Kuto Besak Palembang.
