The goal of this research is to apply the steps of designing video script of Rumah Ong Boentjit as tourism destination in Palembang. This report is used to find complete information about Rumah Ong Boentjit by designing video script of Rumah Ong Boentjit Palembang. The methodology of this research is Research andDevelopment from Sukmadinata (2005). This report modified and developed the Research and Development method in three steps: Preliminary Study, Model Development and also Final Product Testing. The problem formulation in this report was formulated into a question: How to design video script of Rumah Ong Boentjit as Tourism Destination in Palembang. The research instruments used, first Preliminary Study: literature study, field survey, model draft. Second, Model Development consisted of limited testing and wider testing. Based on the finding, the writer made a video script of Rumah Ong Boentjit as tourism destination in Palembang. It is concluded that the video script may give knowledge and information to the readers about Rumah Ong Boentjit.

This final report is written to fulfill the requirment of final report project in English Department of State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya.
The writer also would like to to thanks to everyone who helped the writer to finish this final report, especially for the writer’s advisor who have give much suggestion, support, and time. The writer also relize that this final report is still farv from being perfact, but the writer welcomes any suggestion to make this final report is better, the writer hopes this final report will be usefull for the readers as the refrence.
