Kertas karya ini berjudul The Description of Ig’s Girlfriend’s Death in Joe Hill “Horns”.Novel ini menceritakan tentang bagaimana Ig “Ignatius Perrish” yang telah tertuduh sebagai terdakwa atas kematian kekasihnya, Merrin William.Walaupun Ig dituduh sebagai terdakwa, tetapi tidak ada satu pun bukti yang menyatakan bahwa dia membunuh kekasihnya itu. Semua masyarakat di kota itu, sampai kedua orangtua nya juga menuduh Ig sebagai pelakunya. Ig merasa kecewa,dia marah kepada semua orang dan juga marah kepada Tuhan nya bahwa ia merasa tidak adil karena dia tidak bersalah. Pada malam Dia menghancurkan dan membuang air kecil pada patung bunda Maria yang terdapat di tempat kejadian Merrin dibunuh dan dia mendapatkan hukuman. Hukuman tersebut telah memberinya dua tanduk iblis dan kedua tanduk itu memiliki kemampuan yang bisa membuat orang-orang menungkapkan keinginan mereka seperti: keserakahan, nafsu, homoseksualitas dan juga dapat mengungkap kebenaran. Dengan adanya tanduk tersebut, Ig memanfaatkan kekuatan yang ada pada tanduk itu untuk mengungkap pelaku pembunuhan kekasihnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode perpustakaan, dan buku-buku referensi dan internet. Dalam menulis kertas karya ini, penulis menggunakan metode dari penelitian pendekatan intrinsic.
