Kertas karya ini berjudul The Negative Ideas Found in Veronica Roth’s
NovelInsurgent. Ini adalah tentang
perjuanganTrisuntukmengamankankotakpesanrahasiamasadepanduniadankotakter
sebutmenyebabkansebagian orang melakukantindakan yang
negatifuntukdapatmengambilkotaktersebut. Analisis ini bertujuan untuk
menjelaskan tentangpemikirannegatif yang diperankanolehtokohdalam novel tersebutDalam penyusunan kertas karya ini penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan (Library Research) dengan membaca beberapa buku yang berhubungan dengan judul ini dan sebagai sumber untuk mendapatkan informasi yang bisa mendukung judul ini dan juga penelusuran dari internet untuk melengkapi data yang telah dikumpulkan. Dan penulismenyimpulkanbahwadalam proses penulisanini, penulismenemukanbahwadalam novel tersebutmencakup 7
ide negatif yang terdiridaritindakkejahatan, marah, bersifatinginmenguasaisegalanya, asumsinegatif, mengancam, danmengkhianati.
iv ABSTRACT
This paper is entitledThe Negative Ideas Found in Veronica Roth’s
NovelInsurgent. It is about analysis of Tris’ struggle to safe keeping the future
secret box of the world and that caused part of every single one did the negative idea to steal that box. This analysis aims to explains about the negative idea that have been played of the characters in the novel. In composing this paper, the writer uses the Library Research by reading some books that relevant to this title or as a source to get some information that can support this title and also by searching on internet to complete the data that have been collected. The writer conclude that in the process of this paper, the writer find out that that novel has include with 7 types of the negative ideas that consist of crime action, angry, control freak, negative assumption, threatening, and betraying.
