ABSTRACT
Banksis also known as financial intermediarieswho have an important role
in the economy. Bank business is unique, because banks operate their business by
using thefundsof others,and thebanks were able tomanage the fundsproperly. PT.
Hartasarana Ambara waRural Bankis one of the financial intermediaries.
One of the efforts of the PT. BPR Ambara wa Ha rtasarana is allocated the
fund or it is better known as credit. In allocating the loan, the bank must have a confidence in the Prospective Debtors as a form ofthe precautionary principle. So beforethe creditdisbursed, there a restepsor proceduresto be followed. To be able
toknow the procedure oflendingbybanks, the writer conductsan internship at PT.
BPR Ambara wa Hartasa rana. The apprenticeship activities lasted for three months.
The writer conducts an internship in the Office of Operations and Fund Credit,
exactly in theAccountOfficer.
During the internship activities take pla ce, it can be concluded that the
application ofthe procedures for grantingcredit inPT. BPR Ambara waHarta sarana
generally has been good, according to theLaw of the Republic of Indonesia Number
07 of 1992 concerning Banking as amended by Act of the Republic of Indonesia
Number 10 of 1998Section 8,namely in termsof the ability ofcandidatesto obtain
debtorbeforecredit is granted.
