PROTOCOL

the

Long

Term Trade Agreement between the Government of the

Republic of Indonesia

and

the Government of

the

Feople • s Republic

of Bulgaria signed on

Representatives of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and

of tile Govercment of the People's Republic of Bulgaria have met in

Djakarta

from the

23rd

January

till the

6th

February

1964

and being

desirous to develop the trade between the two countries in

accordance with Article

8

of the above mentioned

Long

Term

Trade

.Agreement. have agreed as follows :

Article

1.

Both parties will endeavour to implement the exchange of goods for

the year 1964.

the Bulgarian exports as indicated in lists

which form an integral

of this Protocol.

The

competent authorities of both Parties will grant each other

the respective import/export licences as well as the foreign

exchange permits

in

connection with the implementation of the

targets entered in

the

lists

"A" 1964

and

"B" 196l..

and

according

to

the

existing import/export regulations in force in each country.

Article 2.

Goods which are not stipulated in

the

Lists

"A"

196l..

and

"B" 1964

attached to this Protocol can also be a.ported and imported

according to the Long

Term Trade

between the Republic of Indonesia and the People's Republic of

Bulgaria.

The

present Protocol shall come into force

at

the

day

ot' its signing

and shall be valid till December 31 , 1964.

The purchase/sale contracts concluded within the above mentioned

period but not executed, shall remain valid till their completion.

This concerns contracts in the framework of

the

above mentioned

Protocol with a delivery time after December 31, 1964.

the Bulgarian Delegation observed that in the List "A"

for the export from Bulgaria to Indonesia are not nentioned some commodities, ai:ione than cement and cotton textile which Bulgaria can sup:)ly to Indonesia up to the a!!lOU!lt of US.$° .180.000 and US .$°.J,.00.000 respectively.

Nevertheless, we agreed upon that the Agreenent does not preclude the possibility to import other commodities than enumerated in s.:-id list. The Indow:isin.n nuthorities vrill therefor consider offers for ce· cnt o.nd cotton textile subnitted by the BulgQrian J?orciGn Trade Enterprises and facilit::.:te the issur.nce of licences.
