Action Package Membership &

Governance

In 2016, Thailand takes turn to lead monthly video

conference among lead countries

Contributing countries will be further invited to join

monthly video conference, if required.

Face

2016, other appropriate venue will be further explored

and utilized.

Key Milestones & Activities in 2016

1. A Workshop: Enhancing Regional Partnership Towards Strengthening Laboratory System in Accelerating GHSA’s Implementation: Detect 1 was

convened during 27-29 July 2016, Bangkok, Thailand, aims to, among others, identify key regional activities and implementing mechanism; and to enhance networking on laboratory across regions.

2. A half day of the Face – face Meeting of Lead Countries & Contributing

Countries was organized back to back on, 28 July 2016 aims to stimulate the discussion on accelerating an implementation and collaboration of identified key priorities of regional activities .

3. Regional Workshop in November 2016 (to be confirmed) aims to fostering

Thailand requested collaboration with WHO to

materialize an implementation of JEE;

Collaborated with ASEAN Plus Three Laboratory

Network and other relevant regional platforms on

laboratory;

Invited SAARC and ASEAN including Timor Leste

to participate in the two Regional Workshops and

other regional activities;
