Most children love watching television. Watching television is an interesting and entertaining way to pass time. However, they should not spend hours glued to the screen. They must have a schedule for other activities. They should have separate time slots for reading, revision and homework. There must be a timetable for hobbies and other activities like playing games, going to the library and helping out at home.
No one should spend too much time in front of the television set. For adults,
watching television is a form of relaxation after a hard day’s work. However, for them too,
it is not healthy being a couch potato. They need to rest and sleep well to reenergise
themselves for the next day’s demand.
Whether they are children or grown ups, they must have control over the time they spend on watching television.
