The Great Eastern Supremacy Scholarship Award is one of the leading programmes in the insurance industry. Every year since 1998, we have been the platform where almost a hundred deserving, talented, young Malaysian can pursue their dreams. To date, Great Eastern Life has awarded over RM11.2 million to 157 recipients who dared to dream, to be different, and took the lead in realising those dreams. Here, we do not just provide great career opportunities for people; we also nurture, care and develop them from young – even before they begin their journey towards success.
ELIGIBILITY:
1. Must be Malaysian citizen. 2. Below 22 years of age
3. Be able to gain admission to the local public universities for approved courses of study.
4. Minimum 3.5 CGPA or its equivalent at pre-university level (STPM/Foundation/ Matriculation) or 2As and 1B for A- Levels/Foundation
5. Minimum 3.5 CGPA or its equivalent at first degree studies level
6. Provisional offer of scholarship will be made subject to the confirmation of acceptance by the educational institutions listed below.
7. Active member of sports & extra curricular activities.
FIELD OF STUDIES
First Degree in the following fields: 1. Accounting & Finance 2. Biomedical / Biohealth 3. Mass Communication 4. Business Administration 5. Marketing
6. Economics
7. Mathematics/Statistics 8. Engineering (Mechanical) 9. Computer Science
10. Operational Research 11. Risk Management
12. Human Resource Management /Psychology
VALUE
-RM 15,000 per academic year
REQUIREMENTS
1. Minimum period required by the University to complete course of study. 2. Awardees must not be bonded to or
holding any other scholarships or receiving financial assistance from any institutions or organisations.
3. Successful applicant must be willing to serve Great Eastern for a bond period upon graduation. (3 years)
