This study is a sociolinguistics study. About registers Holmes (1992:276)
states, “the language of groups of people with common interest or jobs, or the language used in situations associated with such groups”. This is to say that the word used by groups to interact with other have a purpose in work. Based of the definition above profession registers, the registers phenomena often occur in society, one of them is registers used by health analysts. This study is limited of register used by health analysts in test result of disease.
A descriptive qualitative method is used in this study since the data being analyzed are the problem of what is registers used by health analysts. In general, the data of the study can be divided into two groups, which are: the main data, and the additional data. The data collection is from interviews, and test result the disease of laboratory.
To collect the data writer to list the data of word register used by health analysts in test result of disease, The analysis of the abbreviation registers, registers of hematologic examination, Stands for the value/size/unit of Laboratory test Results.
There are some kinds of registers used by health analysts 1, used of abbreviation, 2, used of stand for the value/size/unit in laboratory test result, 3, describe what those registers mean from the point view of laymen’s vocabulary. analyzing data of test result from Al-Irsyad hospital, Islamic hospital, and Dr. Soetomo hospital Surabaya. The analyzed data laboratory result including, from full blood examination laboratory test, clinical chemistry laboratory tests, renal physiology laboratory tests, and complete urine laboratory test.
