The WACE Indonesian: Second Language Stage 3 examination consists of a written component worth 60 per cent of the total examination score and a practical (oral) component worth 40 per cent of the total examination score.

Solusi Kurangi Kantung Plastik

Setiap tahunnya, setiap orang Indonesia menggunakan 700 kantung plastik. Kantung-kantung ini didapat gratis dari saat belanja, jajan, baik di warung, kaki lima, pasar swalayan, sampai pasar tradisional. Total, setiap tahunnya, Indonesia menghabiskan sekitar 100 milyar kantung plastik. Kantung plastik dalam jumlah sebanyak itu tentu ada bahayanya. Bukan hanya

bertanggungjawab atas kematian banyak hewan laut per tahun, kantung plastik juga bisa

membahayakan hutan. Belum lagi jika kita mengingat fakta bahwa butuh 1000 tahun buat plastik terurai di alam.

Kita bisa berperan aktif dalam mengurangi konsumsi kantung plastik yang beredar. Salah satunya dengan mengatakan ‘tidak’ buat kantung plastik. Selain itu, masih ada banyak cara lainnya.

Sudah punya rencana menghabiskan waktu bersama dengan keluarga bulan ini?

Jika belum, Anda dapat mengunjungi Jakarta Fashion & Food Festival (JFFF) 2013 yang

bertajuk One Decade. Peristiwa ini yang telah berlangsung sejak tahun 2004, menjadi magnet

tersendiri dalam rangka menyambut HUT DKI Jakarta yang jatuh pada bulan Juni.

Dengan tema besar mode dan kuliner, JFFF menggabungkan unsur Fashion Extravaganza, Food Festival, dan Gading Nite Carnival.

Wakil Gubernur DKI Jakarta, turut menghadiri acara pembukaan yang berlangsung pada Kamis (9/5), di La Piazza, Kelapa Gading, Jakarta Utara. Di sana ada berbagai karnaval berupa tarian, pertunjukkan kostum unik, dan berbagai mobil hias. Menurutnya pagelaran ini merupakan hasil kerjasama yang baik antara pemerintah, pihak swasta, dan kepolisian, sehingga tetap berlangsung aman, tertib dan meriah.

“Ajang ini juga dapat membangkitkan semangat para pengusaha mikro menengah untuk memamerkan produknya pada panggung nasional. Anda akan menemukan berbagai industri mode yang menunjukkan budaya dengan beragam produk lokal dalam konteks sebuah industri kreatif yang berskala kecil-menengah, namun tetap memiliki daya tarik bagi para wisatawan lokal dan mancanegara”.

Seluruh warga sekitar, dan pengunjung La Piazza, Sentra Kelapa Gading, menyaksikan karnaval malam hari ala Indonesia yang ditutup dengan pesta kembang api yang begitu spektakuler.

Sementara itu, ajang food festival, akan melibatkan sekitar 80 pedagang kuliner dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia. Tersedia makanan tradisional seperti gado-gado, gudeg, makanan khas Manado, nasi goreng, nasi pindang, nasi ulam, sate Padang, sop kambing, tahu gejrot, dan masih banyak lagi.

Anda dapat mengunjungi ajang food festival dari pukul 16.00 sampai 22.00 WIB pada hari Senin sampai Jumat, sedangkan untuk akhir pekan dan hari libur, akan buka dari pukul 11.00 sampai 23.00 WIB.

The Voice Indonesia “Bukan Mencari Popularitas Tapi Kualitas”

The Voice merupakan program pencarian bakat milik jaringan televisi NBC. The Voice dibuat berdasar pada program kompetisi menyanyi The Voice Of Holland yang diciptakan oleh produser televisi asal Belanda, John de Mol dengan Mark Burnett sebagai eksekutif produsernya.

Program The Voice pertama kali ditayangkan pada 26 April 2011 dan berakhir pada 29 Juni 2011 dengan Javier Colon sebagai pemenang pertama. Di musim pertama penayangannya, The Voice berhasil membuktikan diri sebagai program paling digemari. Karena itu pada 5 Februari 2012, NBC kembali menayangkan The Voice musim ke-dua, bersamaan dengan penayangan Super Bowl XLVI, dan berakhir pada 8 Mei 2012 dengan Jermaine Paul sebagai pemenangnya. Kesuksesan tersebut kembali terulang saat ditayangkannya kembali The Voice musim ke-tiga pada 10 September 2012 hingga 18 Desember 2012 dengan Cassadee Pope sebagai pemenangnya.

Berbeda dengan ajang pencarian bakat menyanyi sebelumnya, The Voice Indonesia lebih memfokuskan pada kualitas suara dari para kontestan. Kontestan yang lolos untuk mengikuti audisi pun juga diseleksi. Kualitas suara menjadi jaminan dari program pencarian bakat ini. Jadi layak jika ajang ini disebut sebagai ajang “The Real Singer”. Juri The Voice hanya meloloskan 150 kontestan untuk mengikuti audisi di lima kota, yakni Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Yogyakarta dan Makasar.
