PREFACE

First of all, I would like to thanks to thank Allah SWT, finally I can finish my project

report. I would like to thank Dr. Sri Marmanto, M. Hum for giving me guidance in finishing

this final project report. I would also to thank my beloved parents and my beloved friends for

giving me support, and spirit to finish this final project report entitled “ Teaching Vocabulary

by Using Pictures and Songs to the Third Grade at SDN 2 Kemasan Sawit Boyolali”.

This final project is based on the job training conducted by the writer in SDN 2

Kemasan Sawit Boyolali. In this final project, the writer describes the process of teaching

vocabulary by using pictures and songs. The writer faces some problems in teaching

vocabulary and gives some solutions to solve the problems in teaching vocabulary by using

pictures and songs.

The writer believes this final project report is far from being perfect. The writer hopes

this final project report will give advantages for the readers to improve their knowledge about

teaching vocabulary by using pictures and songs.

KEMASAN SAWIT BOYOLALI.English Diploma Program, Faculty of Letters and Fine

Arts, Sebelas Maret University.

This final project is written based on the job training which has been done by the writer at SDN 2 Kemasan Sawit Boyolali. The purpose of this final project is to describe the process of teaching vocabulary by using pictures and songs to the third grade students at SDN 2 Kemasan Sawit Boyolali.

The writer has been observing the class and interviewing the English teacher of SDN 2 Kemasan Sawit Boyolali. The process of teaching vocabulary consisted of four steps based on the lesson plan that was made before. There were building knowledge of field, modeling, joint construction, and independent construction.
