PENGARUH KEGIATAN MERONCE TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENGANCINGKAN BAJU

(Penelitian dengan Subjek Tunggal pada Anak Cerebral Palsy Spastik (X) di SLB D YPAC Bandung)

Anak yang mengalami hambatan fisik dan motorik memiliki keterbatasan dalam melakukan aktifitas sehari-hari. Salah satunya yaitu dalam aktifitas berpakaian. Berpakaian merupakan salah satu program kekhususan dalam pengembangan kemampuan diri dan gerak bagi anak dengan hambatan fisik dan motorik sehingga kemampuan berpakaian ini perlu dilatih agar anak mampu mandiri. Kurangnya kemampuan subjek dalam berpakaian, khususnya dalam mengancingkan baju (seragam), tentu menjadi masalah tersendiri bagi subjek

yang tergolong cerebral palsy spastik. Dilatarbelakangi oleh hal tersebut, maka

peneliti memiliki gagasan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan mengancingkan baju pada subjek melalui kegiatan meronce. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk

mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kegiatan meronce terhadap kemampuan

mengancingkan baju pada anak cerebral palsy spastik (X) di SLB D YPAC

Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dengan subjek tunggal

atau dikenal dengan istilah SSR (Single Subject Research). Desain yang

digunakan yaitu desain A-B-A yang terdiri dari tiga kondisi yaitu kondisi baseline

1 (A1), intervensi (B) dan baseline 2 (A2). Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu

berupa tes kinerja cara mengancingkan baju. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai

rata-rata kemampuan subjek dalam mengancingkan baju yaitu pada baseline 1

(A1) sebesar 44%, lalu meningkat pada tahap intervensi (B) yaitu sebesar 60,9%

dan meningkat kembali pada baseline 2 (A2) menjadi sebesar 64,4%. Berdasarkan

analisis data dan pembahasan yang telah dilakukan, maka diperoleh informasi bahwa kegiatan meronce berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan mengancingkan baju

pada subjek (X) yang tergolong cerebral palsy spastik dengan peningkatan

kemampuan sebesar 3,5%.

THE EFFECT OF MERONCE ACTIVITY ON ABILITY TO BUTTONING CLOTHES

(Single Subject Research in Children with Cerebral Palsy Spastic (X) in SLB D

YPAC Bandung)

Children who barriers to physical and motoric have limitations in performing daily activities. One of them is in the dressing activities. Dress is one of the peculiarities of the development program of self and the ability of movement for children with physical and motoric barriers so that the ability of dressing need to be trained so that children are able to be independent. The lack of the subject's ability to dress, especially in buttoning clothes (uniform). It is certainly a problem for subjects who classified into spastic cerebral palsy. Based on the background, the researcher had the idea to develop the ability to buttoning clothes in the subject through meronce activities. This study aims to determine how the effects of meronce activity on ability to buttoning clothes in spastic cerebral palsy children at SLB D YPAC Bandung. This study uses research methods with a single subject or known as SSR (Single Subject Research). Design used is design of A-B-A that consists of three phases: 1st baseline (A1), intervention (B) and 2nd baseline (A2) condition. The instruments that used in the form of performance tests about the way to buttoning clothes. The result of this research showed the average value of the subject's ability to buttoning clothes ie at 1st baseline (A1) is equal to 44%, and increased in the intervention phase (B) is equal to 60.9% and increased again in 2nd baseline (A2) is equal to Rp 64, 4%. Based on the data analysis and discussion that has been carried out, so that give an information that meronce activities affect on the ability to buttoning clothes in the subject (X) who classified as spastic cerebral palsy by increased capacity is equal to 3.5%.
