ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kandang Unggas Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Padjadjaran Kabupaten Sumedang mulai tanggal 28 Oktober sampai dengan 25 November 2013. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian bawang putih (Allium sativum) terhadap jumlah dan ukuran plak peyeri illeum puyuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Terdapat empat jenis perlakuan (P0 = 0 g , P1 = 0,525 g, P2 = 1,050 g, dan P3 = 1,575 g BK bawang putih) dengan enam ulangan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa pemberian bawang putih (0,525 g) berpengaruh nyata (p<0,05) terhadap jumlah dan ukuran plak peyeri ileum puyuh, pada jumlah plak peyeri ileum puyuh berbeda nyata dengan P0 = 14,67, P1 = 9,83, P2 = 19, P3 = 19,67, sedangkan pada ukuran lebar plak peyeri ileum puyuh berbeda nyata dengan P0 = 13,17 µ, P1 = 12,67 µ, P2 = 14,33 µ, P3 = 14,5 µ, dan pada ukuran tinggi plak peyeri ileum puyuh berbeda nyata dengan P0 = 22,83 µ, P1 = 20,5 µ, P2 = 21 µ , P3 = 20,83 µ. Dosis pemberian optimal 0,525 g karena terjadi penurunan jumlah, ukuran lebar dan tinggi plak peyeri ileum puyuh..

ABSTRACT
This research was carried out at the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Poultry Cage, Padjadjaran University Sumedang from 28 October to 25 November 2013. The study was aimed to determine the effect of garlic (Allium sativum) on the number and size of peyeri plaque of ileum quail. This study used an experimental method with completely randomized design (CRD) was applied. There were four types of treatments (P0=0 g, P1=0,525 g, P2=1,050 g and P3=1.575 g of garlic with six replications. Based on the results of statistical analysis showed that administration of garlic (0.525 g DM) was significantly (P<0.05) different on the number and size of peyeri plaque of ileum quail, peyeri plaque number of ileum quail was significantly different with P0=14.67, P1=9,83, P2=19, P3=19.67, while at the width of peyeri plaque of ileum quail significantly different from P0=13.17 µ, P1=12.67 µ, P2=14.33 µ , P3=14.5 µ , and the height of peyeri plaque of ileum quail significantly different from P0=22.83 µ, P1=20.5 µ , P2=21 µ, P3=20.83 µ.
