PENGARUH UKURAN KOMPLEKSITAS PERUSAHAAN, REPUTASI KANTOR AKUNTAN PUBLIK, PENDAPAT AUDITOR DAN RISIKO AUDIT
TERHADAP PRAKTIK LOWBALLING
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh ukuran kompleksitas perusahaan, reputasi Kantor Akuntan Publik, pendapat auditor, dan risiko audit terhadap praktik lowballing. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah ukuran perusahaan, jumlah cabang yang dimiliki perusahaan, reputasi kantor akuntan publik ( KAP ), pendapat auditor, rasio cepat, dan rasio perputaran piutang usaha sedangkan variabel dependen dalam penelitian ini adalah audit fee yang rendah ( lowballing ).
Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling diperoleh 30 perusahaan sampel dengan 90 data observasi sebagai unit analisis (30 x 3 tahun).
Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dengan regresi linear dinyatakan bahwa variabel ukuran perusahaan dan rasio perputaran piutang usaha berpengaruh signifikan terhadap praktik lowballing yang dilakukan oleh suatu KAP. Jumlah cabang perusahaan, reputasi kantor akuntan publik, dan rasio cepat tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap praktik lowballing yang dilakukan oleh suatu KAP.

THE EFFECT OF FIRM SIZE COMPLEXITY, REPUTATION OF CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTING FIRM, AUDITOR OPINION, AND AUDIT RISK ON
PRACTICE OF LOWBALLING
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of firm size
complexity, reputation of certified public accounting firm, auditor’s opinion, and
audit risk on practice of lowballing. The independent variables of this study are firm size, number of branches of the firm, reputation of certified public
accounting firm, auditor opinion, quick ratio, and account receivable turnover and the dependent variable of this study is the low cost of audit fee ( lowballing ).
The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling in which the number of samples obtained in this study were 30 companies with 90 sample data observations as the unit of analysis (30 x 3 years).
Based on the results of hypothesis testing with linear regression revealed that the variables firm size and account receivable turnover have a significant effect on the practice of lowballing made CPA firm. Meanwhile, number of branches of the firm, reputation of certified public accounting firm, auditor opinion, and quick ratio have no significant effect on the practice of lowballing made CPA firm.
