I live in a village called Amed in Bali, about a two – hour drive from Kuta. It is a beach village and one of the best places for scuba diving in Bali. To reach my village take a lot of energy, because it is an exhausting trip. The road is bendy and there are many ups and downs too. However, as soon as you arrive in Amed, your effort will be rewarded, with beauty of my village.

Unlike other places in Bali, Amed is a calm and peacefull place. The bay is sandy and the rocks appear to be in line with the traditional fishing boat or jukung. From the top of the hill, people can enjoy the beautiful scenery. There are no factories and industries in Amed, so the water and the soil in my village are still green and unpolluted, which is needed to product salt by the villages.

An Unforgetable Trip to Bromo

Last holiday, my friends and I decided to go to Bromo. We left Semarang in the afternoon. After a very long trip, we finally arrived in Probolinggo. We arrived at the hotel at 2 p.m. and immediately were ready for our trip to the mountain.

Driving on our 1997 Suzuki Carry we climbed Penanjakan to enjoy the sunrise. It was amazing. From Penanjakan we left to Bromo. During our trip, a horrible thing happened. Although Bromo is lower than Penanjakan, our trip proved to be very difficult. While our car was slowly climbing the mountain, it suddenly became stuck. It slowly moved backward. We quickly jumped out of the car. The driver asked us to push the car and we did so accordingly. We pushed and pushed the car but the engine couldn't start. When we were so tired to push, we stopped and leaned our backs to the car to stop it sliding backward. It was horrible. All of us were desperate. After thirty minutes, the engine worked again. We cried in happiness. Then we continued our journey.

The following text is for number 28 – 30

Last summer I went to India with my family. We spent 10 days travelling around Rajasthan and I will never forget it. We saw lots of things like the TajMahal and we went to a tiger reserve. Our guide was called Krishna and he was really really nice especially when I didn’t always understand things he would explain it to me and answer all my stupid questions. Also when I got ill with a fever he was really kind and gave me medicine (and got a priest to give me a blessing in a Hindu temple we visited) and I got well again very quickly.

There were lots of amazing parts of the holiday. One was when we got to ride on elephants in Jaipur. My sister and I rode an elephant called Lucky. It was really fun and I also

liked riding on a camel. We were in a camel cart but Krishna talked to the camel’s owner and we were allowed to ride on them, which was really cool. I also really liked the TajMahal because it was even prettier than I imagined. My sister lost her shoes but the people in India are really kind and so we found them again. The weather was really hot which was nice because Krishna gave us lots of time to spend in the pool and relax in-between going to see all the amazing sites.

How to Clean Dirty Floors

1. Give the floor its daily brush, before you mop it. 2. Check to see whether there are any stubborn marks on your floor that your daily brush

The girl’s mother told her that the gold coins belonged to her friend and she asked him to come. When the selfish man arrived, she told him how her daughter had found his thirty gold coins and handed them to him. However, after counting the gold coins, the man

said that ten of them were missing. He accused the girl of taking the coins, as he had forty gold coins. He added that he would claim the outstanding 10 gold coins from her, but the woman refused.

Then, the man went to court and informed the judge about what had taken place between him and the girl’s mother. When the girl and her mother arrived, the judge asked the girl how many gold coins she found. She replied thirty. The judge then asked the selfish man how many gold coins he had lost and he answered forty.

The judge then told the man that the gold coins did not belong to him, because the girl found thirty-gold coins, not forty as he claimed. If anybody was looking for thirty gold coins, he would send for the girl. On the contrary, if forty gold coins were found, he would send them for the man.
