Dear Fellow Golfers,
DON’T FORGET! The PPIA Annual Golf Tournament will be held on January 31, 2008, at the
Sedana Golf and Country Club. Sign up early to be certain of getting a spot on the field. Any
revenue generated from this tournament will help support PPIA people-to-people focused activities
during 2008. In particular PPIA is co-sponsoring with Voice of America (VOA) a Broadcasting
Fellowship Training for promising young TV and Radio journalists in USA. Members of KADIN,
AMCHAM, PPIA, US AERA Association, US Embassy and Government of Indonesia have been
invited. Sign up soon and do not miss out on this rare event! Please read the following information
which contains important details about your participation:
• When you arrive at the Golf Club the morning of the tournament, sign in at the registration desk set up at the entrance.
• Once you confirm your registration, the Registration Committee will give you your scorecard and goody bag and flight assignment.
• Check-in for the tournament starts at 6:00 AM. Please plan to arrive no later than 06:30 AM.
• Breakfast will be available on a pay-as-you-go basis for those want it.
• Be prepared for a hot and sunny day. We plan to have an abundance of drinks on the course, but don’t forget to pack your umbrella (for the sun, of course — no rain guaranteed!).
• The tournament will begin promptly at 7:00 AM, “Shotgun Start or Tally Ho!”
• A lunch will be catered by the Golf Club will be available after the tournament. Awards and Lucky Draw prizes will be given out following the lunch. It is anticipated to last for up to two hours, so plan appropriately
• Entry Fee (including lunch) :
o Rp. 750,000,- : PPIA, AMCHAM, Indonesian-American Alumni Association., KADIN, US Embassy or Indonesian Government officials
o Rp. 850,000,- : Non-members of the above
