Media Komunikasi dan Informasi Pusat Pengembangan dan Pemberdayaan Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan Bahasa ini merupakan salah satu media informasi dan komunikasi antar-unit di lingkungan Departemen Pendidikan Nasional, terutama antara PPPPTK Bahasa dengan PPPPTK lain, LPMP, Direktorat-Direktorat yang relevan, pendidik, dan tenaga kependidikan bahasa.

Media Informasi dan Komunikasi ini memuat informasi tentang kebahasaan dan pengajarannya serta kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan dan pelatihan guru bahasa. Kami mengundang para pembaca untuk berperan serta menyumbangkan buah pikiran yang sesuai dengan misi media ini, berupa pendapat atau tanggapan tentang bahasa, pengajarannya, dan ulasan tulisan pada media ini serta tulisan di bidang non-pendidikan bahasa.

Kami akan memperbaiki redaksional tulisan atau meringkas naskah yang akan terbit tanpa mengubah materi pokok tulisan.
