4.1. Pendidikan

Salah

satu

program

adalah

meningkatkan

pem-bangunan

sektor

pendidikan

formal mulai dari tingkat Sekolah

Dasar (SD) sampai perguruan

tinggi dan pendidikan non formal

berupa pendidikan dan latihan

berbagai

bidang

pengetahuan

ketrampilan yang diperlukan untuk

pembangunan serta pembinaan

generasi muda dan olah raga

dalam mempersiap-kan generasi

yang sehat jasmani dan rohani.

Jumlah sekolah negeri dan swasta

di Provinsi Jambi kondisi 2010

adalah :

- TK : 820 sekolah

- SD : 2.274 sekolah

- SLTP : 528 sekolah

- S M A : 210 sekolah

- S M K : 104 sekolah

Jumlah guru negeri & swasta :

- TK : 3.561 orang

- SD : 28.701 orang

- S LTP : 8.224 orang

- S M A : 4.962 orang

- S M K : 2.373 orang

Jumlah murid negeri dan swasta :

- TK : 34.264 orang

- SD : 380.596 orang

Di samping itu juga terdapat data

CHAPTER 4 S O C I A L

4.1. Education

One of the main programme of

Jambi Province is to improve

formal education from primary

school up to university and non

formal such as education and

training

with

a

variety

of

vocationalities to develope youth

generation and sport to prepare

them with healthty body and spirit.

The number of school in 2010 :

- Kindergarten : 820 units

- Primary School : 2.274 units

- Junior High School : 528 units

- Senior High School : 210 units

- Vocational Senior High School :

104 units

The numbers of teachers (person):

- Kindergarten 3.561

- Primary School: 28.701

- Junior High School: 8.224

- Senior High School : : 4.962

- Vocational Senior High School :

- Kindergarten : 34.264

- Primary Schools: 380.596

- Junior High Schools: 104.954

23.741 Besides, there are data of Islamic

schools under the directives of

4.2. Kesehatan

Penyediaan berbagai sarana

kesehatan di Provinsi Jambi

disajikan pada tabel 4.2 yang

meliputi jumlah rumah sakit,

puskesmas,

puskesmas

pembantu,

Posyandu,

dan

apotik. Di samping itu juga

disajikan

jumlah

tenaga

kesehatan yang terdiri dari

tenaga kefarmasian, tenaga

gizi,

tenaga

keperawatan,

bidan, kesehatan masyarakat,

sanitasi, dan teknisi medis.

Tabel 4.2.3 menyajikan target

dan

realisasi

imunisasi

meliputi BCG, DPT I, campak,

polio, dan TT ibu hamil.

Tabel

4.2.4 menyajikan

kegiatan

pelayanan

rumah

sakit jiwa dan jumlah pasien

rawat laki-laki dan perempuan.

Data tentang akseptor keluarga

berencana berdasarkan alat

kontrasepsi dapat dilihat di

tabel 4.2.6 meliputi jumlah

klinik, IUD, pil, MOP, MOW,

implant, kondom, suntikan,

dan lainnya. Selain itu sub bab

ini juga menyediakan data

mengenai transfusi.

4.2. Health

The utilty of health fasilities in

Jambi Province provided in

Table 4.2 which contains number

of

hospitals,

public

health

centers,

public

health

sub-centers,

posyandu

and

dispensaries. Besides there are

providers the number of health

personnels including pharmacy,

nutrient

specialist,

nurses,

midwives,

public

health,

sanitarian

and

medical

technician.

Table 4.2.3 provides information

about target and realization of

immunization including BCG,

DPT 1, polio and TT for

,measles.

Table 4.2.4 provides information

about mental hospital services

and number of patience.

Table 4.2.6 shows data about

family planning acceptor by

contraceptives, number of family

planning clinics, IUD, pills,

MOP, MOW, implant, condom,

injection, etc. Besides that, it is

also provides data about blood

transfusion.

Sub

bab

tentang

keagamaan

meliputi data tentang jumlah

penduduk menurut agama (Islam,

Protestan, Kristen, Hindu, Budha

dan Khonghucu) serta tempat

ibadah (masjid, musholla, langgar,

vihara, gereja, pura dan klenteng).

Di samping itu juga menyajikan

data jamaah haji dan tanah wakaf.

4.4. Sosial Lainnya

Sub bab sosial lainnya meliputi

perkembangan

perpustakaan,

gerakan Pramuka, anggota Satpol

PP, panti sosial, olahraga, perkara

pidana/ perdata, kecelakaan lalu

lintas, perkara perceraian, dan

narapidana.

Luas kawasan hutan di Provinsi

terdiri dari kawasan hutan lindung

4.5. Estate and Environment

Forest area in Jambi Province

are 2.179.440 ha, consist of

191.130 ha of protected forest

and 676.120 ha of conservation

forest.
