ABSTRAK
Saat ini, perkembangan teknologi komputer khususnya memiliki
manfaat dan kepentingan yang sangat besar dalam kehidupan kita. Hari demi hari. Hal ini tentu saja bisa diharapkan bisa menjadi sarana pendukung untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada di dalam suatu perusahaan atau organisasi untuk mencapai tujuannya.
Begitu juga dengan Bus ALS, dalam setiap proses dapat memberikan dan menyampaikan informasi yang tepat, akurat dan jelas serta mudah
mendistribusikan tiket ke penumpang tanpa harus mengantri terlebih dahulu ke loket. Saat ini, dari waktu ke waktu, sistem yang sedang berjalan saat ini di Bus ALS masih belum sepenuhnya menggunakan sistem komputerisasi yang baik.
Oleh karena itu, penulis ingin mencoba merancang sistem informasi pemesanan tiket bus secara online dan dukungan teknologi berbasis web diharapkan dapat mempermudah pendistribusian tiket bus serta peningkatan penjualan dan pendistribusian informasi secara lebih cepat dan tepat kepada calon penumpang.
