KEARIFAN MASYARAKAT ADAT SUKU BAJO DALAM REKLAMASI PANTAI DI PULAU BUNGIN NUSA TENGGARA BARAT

ABSTRAK
Kawasan pesisir merupakan sumber daya yang wajib dikelola karena merupakan salah satu aset bagi pembangunan berkelanjutan. Masyarakat adat Bajo di kawasan pesisir Pulau Bungin, Nusa Tenggara Barat memiliki kearifan lokal dimana setiap pemuda yang hendak menikah diharuskan menyediakan lahan untuk membangun rumah dengan cara mereklamasi karang mati, kemudian dijadikan fondasi untuk membangun rumah.
Penulisan skripsi ini dikaji menggunakan pendekatan yuridis normatif dengan metode deskriptif analitis, yang mana data yang diperoleh dianalisis berdasarkan ketentuan perundang-undangan terkait hukum penataan ruang kawasan pesisir, literatur, sumber lain yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini, serta penelitian lapangan untuk memperoleh data primer melalui wawancara kemudian data dianalisis secara yuridis kualitatif.
LOCAL WISDOM OF BAJO TRADITIONAL PEOPLE IN BEACH RECLAMATION AT BUNGIN ISLAND WEST NUSA TENGGARA

ABSTRACT
The coastal area is a resource that must be managed because it is one of the
assets for sustainable development. Bajo traditional people in coastal area Bungin,
West Nusa Tenggara Province has an unique local wisdom in that every young man
who want to marry are required to provide land to build a house by reclaiming or
stockpiling dead coral from the sea later used as a foundation to build a house.
The thesis was investigated using normative juridical approach with
descriptive analytical method, in which the data were analyzed based on the
constutional provisions related to the law of spatial coastal areas, literatures, other
sources associated with this study, as well as field research to obtain primary data
through interviews. Then, the data were analyzed by juridical qualitative.
Based on the research, the results obtained are: First The Local wisdom is valued by traditional peoples as something good and useful, although on
the other side of the government in this case the Department of Marine and Fisheries
has banned thr reclamation of the dead corals by traditional people, for destabilizing
sustainability of marine water reason. Second the government then recommends that reclamation in Bungin henceforth is no longer using dead corals and replaced
