This study was aimed at investigating: (1) What are the teacher’s questioning patterns in English classroom interaction, (2) How are the student’s responses towards questioning patterns in English classroom interaction.
The study was descriptive study qualitative approach. For the data collection, it was used the instruments such as observationcheklist, interview in-depth, questionnaire about the teacher’s questions and how the respond, and documentation such as the record of interview, the result of questionnaire and photo. The subjects of study were the English teacher and the third grade students of SDIT Alam IKM Al Muhajirin Palangka Raya. To analyze the data, it was through the techniques: data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion/verification.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi : (1) apa pola-pola pertayaan guru dalam interaksi bahasa inngris dikelas. (2) bagaimana respon siswa terhadap pola pertayaan dalam interaksi bahasa inggris dikelas.
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian yang bersifat diskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Untuk pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini digunakan istrumen antara lain observasi ceklis, wawancara, questionner tentang pertayaan guru dan bagaimana respon mereka dan dokumentasi seperti rekaman wawancara, hasil pertayaan dan poto , dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah guru bahasa Inggris dan siswa kelas III SDIT Alam IKM Al Muhajirin Palangka Raya. Untuk menganalisis data, digunakan teknik antara lain pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan.
