Student handbook

The Student Handbook is your guide to living in the State University of Jakarta and Faculty campus. Familiarity with the material contained herein will assist you in your success at the College. Information is provided regarding academic and campus life policies and procedures, as all students are responsible for following the University and Faculty regulations printed here .

This handbook has been prepared for undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff of Faculty, and others wishing to know about State university of Jakarta, procedures, programs, and activities . Every effort has been made to ensure that the information contained herein is accurate as of the date of publication (2021).

FMIPA State University of Jakarta reserves the right to revise policies, procedures,

programs, and activities or correct errors without prior notice. Changes and amendments

made after publication will be posted on the Faculty’s website with revisions to this

Covid-19 Pandemic Policies

1. Lectures

Activity even semester lectures year 2021/2022 academic year at Jakarta State University is held with provision as following :

a. Lectures stare advance for studying theory (non- practical) is replaced with learning stare away (PJJ) with using the UNJ Learning Management System or other platforms with refer to the existing guide.

b. Lectures practicum in the laboratory workshop, studio, field (practice sports) or the like customized with condition of each unit/ field. Execute practice daopat done in hybrid with conditions :

1. Get agreement from Leader Faculty / Postgraduate 2. Must coordinate with UNJ COVID-19 Satlak

3. Following the very strict COVID-19 protocol tight

4. Students and lecturers have following COVID-19 vaccination

5. Students and lecturers must in condition healthy when dating to campus 6. Not crowd on college,

7. Quick go home after activity practice finished ,

8. Follow provision other as poured in point 2 about activity research .

c. Student Creativity Project (PKM), internship activities (PKL), Community services program (KKN), Field trips (KKL), or the like implemented online or could conduct to offline schema. If implemented offline then should fulfil provision as following :

1. Get agreement from Leader Faculty / Postgraduate 2. Get agreement from target agency

3. Students and lecturers has follow COVID-19 vaccination

4. Students and lecturers the best adviser field must in condition healthy, implemented

with following the very strict COVID-19 protocol tight

d. Activity mentoring work write ( task final , thesis , thesis , and dissertation ) is done online.

If required mentoring offline which is not could avoided so should follow provision as following :

1. Get agreement from leader Faculty / Postgraduate 2. Students and lecturers has follow COVID-19 vaccination 3. Students and lecturers mentor must in condition healthy

4. Guidance offline only on problems that are not could done online 5. Duration time guidance no more than 30 minutes

6. Implemented with following the very COVID-19 protocol tight.

e. Spread proposals, exams end , or something like that done online with _ permanent notice standard quality exam , or could done in hybrid with follow provision as following :

1. Get agreement from Leadership / Faculty / Postgraduate

2. Students and team lecturer examiner has follow COVID-19 vaccination 3. Students and team lecturer examiner must in condition healthy 4. Attendees and committee no more than 50% of capacity used room Implemented with following the very strict COVID-19 protocol tight.

2. Learning and Laboratory Activities

Activity social research involving Public as respondent done online above permission leader Faculty as well as guard data security. Activity research conducted in the laboratory at UNJ is carried out with provision as following :

a. Preparation going to laboratory campus

1. Make sure journey going to laboratory campus use vehicle private ( if should use vehicle general use minimal interaction or choose time on the clock that is not busy ).

2. Show letter description has follow COVID-19 vaccination

3. Protect self use tool protection personal protective equipment (PPE) , namely surgical masks and face shields

4. Bring standard hand sanitizer and K3 (occupational safety and health) equipment laboratory ( lab coat and gloves hand customized with needs )

5. Bring equipment eat , drink , medicine personal , and equipment Salat alone.

b. Before enter laboratory campus

1. Wearing PPE (surgical mask / face shield ) and checking body temperature

2. Convey information about family history and regional zoning _ stay related to COVID-

19. If student / lecturer originated from the red zone and has family infected with

COVID -19 then banned enter to laboratory campus

3. Deliver letter permission lecturer mentors and parents 4. Fill in supporting data laboratory campus

5. Wash hand.

c. Administration process

1. Deliver letter permission do activity signed laboratory research mentors and parents 2. Look after document alone and avoid group with friend

3. Deliver plan activity research in the laboratory

4. If administration has finished could quick do other agendas.

d. Party laboratory

1. Provide activity agenda _ work laboratory (logbook)

2. Ensure take notes whole students who do activity research in the laboratory

3. Arrange timetable activity research in the laboratory maximum 50% of normal capacity

4. Provide disinfectant standard in every laboratory

5. Assign team stylist Education laboratory (PLP) for facilitate implementation activity laboratory

6. Clean the air conditioner with the Health protocol every two week once 7. Providing medical masks backup for participants who are still use a cloth mask 8. Provide hand sanitizer and facilities wash hand

e. Activity research in the laboratory

1. Use time with effective and efficient ( lab working hours : 08.00-16.00 WIB) 2. Must use sign identifier

3. Make sure table and fixtures work cleaned more first (using disinfectant)

4. Capacity laboratory should refers to the Health protocol and maintains minimum distance of 1.5 meters with friend

5. Avoid share tool work laboratory with friend work

6. Must follow the K3 protocol

Prohibited and Restricted Conduct

Right Student

Student UNJ which status student active get right as following :

a. acquire education and teaching on program study accordingly with requirements and rules yang apply

b. put forward opinion or idea without bother right person other and order general

d. obtain lecturer guidance in the implementation of studies research, devotion society, and writing work scientific

and condition which apply

Obligation Student

Student UNJ which status student active obliged for :

a. follow study, practicum , and activity academic other in accordance with provision which apply

b. respect tall and take care integrity academic

d. guard neutrality UNJ from activity political practical

g. guard cleanliness , order , and security in campus , as well as no bother activity University

Student Ethic

1. Student must own ethics good ethics to lecturers, students, power education, society, and ethics in various activity academics, activities extracurricular, and in convey opinion which will set with Chancellor Decision

2. Student which violate code ethics student will worn penalty in accordance provision apply

Violations and Sanctions Academic Violation

(1) Fraud or violation academic is all type fraud which occur in relation with practice academic official or formal

(2) That includes in violation academic as intended on paragraph (1) between other:

a. Plagiarism : use / adopt or make back / reproduce idea or words or statement person other/ works self alone without make confession which sernesty

b. Creating / fabricating : manipulation data, information , or quote in practice academic official / formal whatever

c. Fraud / diception : give wrong information to party which interested about practice academic official / formal as give reason false because late fulfil deadline or lie has gather the task that given

d. Cheating : every effort for give or got help in do practice academic formal ( like exam ) without make confession which should

Penalty

(1) Penalty academic in the form of : a. Warning by oral nor written

b. Cancellation Mark exam for the courses which concerned c. Given value E the course which concerned in the case.

d. Did not pass all the subjects in the middle semester .

e. Not allowed follow activity academic on period time certain (suspension)

f. Dismissal or issued from UNJ

g. Revocation of diplomas and academic degrees for those who already complete program

Academic period (Kalender akademik)

1. Academic period used as reference time whole activity academic in one year academic

2. Whole activity academic should guided by to the time that has been set in Academic period.

3. Academic period set with Decision Chancellor

Registration Procedures

(1) Register as administrative implemented in .... at a partner bank yang appointed by UNJ accordingly with time yang already set on Academic period

(2) Registration administrative could done by students new if concerned _ has declared received Becomes UNJ students and fulfil other specified requirements in the selection process Penmaba Mandiri

(3) Registration administrative could done by old students when which concerned still recorded as student UNJ

(4) Registration administrative student recipient scholarships and work same required attach SK Rector about determination recipient scholarship and work the same that includes quantity tuition fee single or tuition fees (UKT/UK) and guarantor scholarship for every semester

(5) System method registration administrative for student new and long set with Decision Rector which implementation anya coordinated by the Bureau of Academic, Student Affairs and Public Relations.

(6) Students who don't do registration administrative in time who have determined in Academic period as well as no do submission paid leave will entered in category student absent

Registration Academic

(1) Registration academic implemented after student complete registration administrative with method fill in Card Plan Study (KRS) through System Information Academic (SIAKAD) online and has been approved by Lecturer Academic Supervisor in accordance with the time that set on Academic period (2) Charging eye lectures and number of credits in the registration process academic

should refers to scatter the courses in every semester for each study program contained in Book Guidelines Academic Faculty and Postgraduate

(3) Charging total credits in KRS in semester 1 (one) to with 6th semester for Diploma level awarded by package by Program study , and for semester next refers to to paragraph (7) chapter this

(4) Charging total credits in KRS in semester 1 (one) and semester 2 (two) for level Bachelor given by package by Study Program with total credit a maximum of 21 credits per semester, and for semesters next refers to on paragraph (7)

(5) Charging total credits in KRS in semester 1 (one) to with 2 (two) for the Masters level is given by package by Study Program and for semester next refers to on curriculum Program study

(6) Charging total credits in KRS in semester 1 (one) to with 2 (two) for level Doctor given by package by Program study , and for semester next refers to on curriculum Program Study

(7) Charging total credits in KRS in the semester that is not determined package eye course by study program as meant in paragraph (3) and paragraph (4), adapt with Index Achievement Semester (IPS) previously with conditions :

a. IPS 3.30 so total credits which could taken Very many 24 ( two twenty four ) credits;

b. IPS 2.75 - 3.29 so total credits which could taken Very many 22 ( two twenty two ) credits;

c. IPS 2.00 - 2.74 so total credits which could taken Very many 20 ( two twenty ) credits; or

d. IPS < 2.00 so total credits which could taken Very many 16 ( six twelve ) credits.

(8) For students who get leave , then total credit taken _ in the current semester submit activation back, refers to to IPS on semester before which concerned declared leave

(9) For student absentee, total credits who can taken after activation return Very many 16 (six twelve) credits.

Study Planning in Semesters The Card Plan Studies

(1)

Every student which will follow study must own the Card of Study Planning ( KRS) which load whole the courses which taken in on going semester.

(2)

KRS filled by student by online and Approved by Academic Supervisor

(3)

Academic Supervisor could cancel the courses which submitted by students at the time fill out KRS if there is the courses precondition for the courses who will taken that haven't been completed by the student concerned or other conditions set by Academic Supervisor

Student only allowed follow study in accordance with the courses which registered in KRS

Error charging the courses in KRS is not quite enough answer student completely

Courses that have been registered in KRS only _ could repaired on time repair

Repair the courses could done the most for two eye lectures and/ or 6 ( six ) credits from total eye lectures and/ or credits which already registered in in KRS

KRS can printed by independently by students and academic supervisor, as well as could made as document KRS official in shape print after signed by the student and Academic supervisor.

Course Grading

Mark the courses which given lecturer to student follow criteria as following

Mark limit graduation and studying for :

a.

tier Bachelor and Diploma is C;

b.

tier Master is B;

c.

tier Doctor is B+; and

d.

The Course PKM/ PKL/ KKN/ Tugas Akhir/ Tesis / Dissertation is B.

Index Semester Performance / Index Performance Cumulative

(1) Index Achievement (IP) consists of above : Index Semester Achievement (IPS) and Index Achievement Cumulative (GPA).

(2) IPS calculated based on ratio Among total results multiplication weight Mark the courses with number of eye credits the course taken on semester on going shared with journal credits on semester on goinging , as formulated on equality following :

e. follow exam work end in accordance with level education which followed 2,( Weight Mark X Credits)
