Application Letter merupakan surat bisnis atau sebuah surat yang berfungsi untuk melamar sebuah pekerjaan disebuah perusahaan atau di sebuah institusi.Application Letter seringpula disebut
sebagai CV atau Curricullum Vitae atau Surat Lamaran Kerja. Biasanya sebuah CV dikirim beserta

Didalam pembuatan surat lamaran hindari bahasa yang tidak pantas seperti slang atau jargon
teknis.
Gunakan kalimat-kalimat yang singkat, informatif dan paragraf pendek.
Periksa ejaan, tata bahasa, dan tanda baca dengan hati-hati. Beberapa pengusaha rutin
membuang lamaran pekerjaan yang berisi kesalahan tersebut.
Struktur perintah biasa surat aplikasi pekerjaan atau email posisi yang diterapkan untuk
memberikan judul pekerjaan sebagai judul, atau merujuk ke dalam kalimat pertama dari surat
anda, menggunakan kode referensi jika ada. Ini akan memastikan bahwa surat lamaran anda
dapat langsung sampai ke orang yang tepat dalam organisasi.
Anda juga harus menyebutkan di mana anda melihat pekerjaan iklan atau di mana anda
mendengar tentang lowongan.
