Head
withlarge,shallow, foveolate puncturesandfeebly reticulatedbetween,thoraxcoarsely reticulated, base of epinotum reticulated more finely than the thorax, with ir- regular, transverse,rugaeapically. Petiolnrpeduncle densely punc-tateandsubopaque.
Mandibles with several fine long hail's near tips. Head, thorax, petiole, postpetiole and legs with short, semirecumbent stout hail's,
whichare most abundant on the head. Gaster with sparse, micro- scopicpubescence.
Color reddish brown, petiole, postpetiole and gaster black, legs lighter,withthe tibiae infuscated, especially apically.

and slightly curved downward. Petiole in profile gradually rounding into the node, which is little elevated;nodefromabove subquadrate, aboutaslongasbroad,withthe ante- rior cornersobtusely angulate. Postpetiole broader than long and about one and one-half times as broad as the peliole. Legslongandratherslender.
Subopaque, coarsely and granulosely punctate, more finely on gaster; the posterior portion of head, the pronotum and the base of gaster with longitudinal striae, straight on the gaster and irregularon thepronotum andhead.
Hairs short and curved on head, thorax and appendages, club-shaped on supraocular border, straight and elongate-claviform on gaster.

Antennalscapes lessthan half as long asliead, theupper border very shallowly concave, the inner border roundly expanded atmiddle; first funicularjoint as longas the second and third together, third joint a little shortei' than the first; terminal joint slightly longer than the remainder of funiculus.
Pronotum
nearly flat, margined in front, humeri rounded. Epinotal spines triangular, their width at base nearly as great as their length and their length a little shorter than their distance apart at base.Petiolar node from above broader than long, very slightly broader behind than in front,with feebly convex sides and nearly straight anteriorborder; in profile a little shorter thanthe pedicel, rounded above and sloping in front. Postpetiole about twice as broad as petiole, excised at middle of posterior half.
