he labored until 1852. Besidescomposinganumberofworks in Santee, assisting as translator, &c.,he acted as editor oftheDakotaFriendfortwo anda half years. In1853he accepted the chargeof a Presbyterian churchat Blooiniugton,Minn., wherehediedJanuary20, 1878.
