Reviewers' comments (Rev_PCBMB_8228_Bis_A):
Comments to the Author
INTRODUCTION:
1. Information on mining gas is less specific about the type of gas, what form of sulfur waste fertilizer
2. The characteristics of waste sulfur fertilizer should be added in this introduction.
3. please use supporting literature that is more specific about the use of sulfur waste as S fertilizer.
4. In the last paragraph, the use of literature (13) on the use of bio-sulfur and organic materials.... Is the sulfur waste that you mean bio-sulfur-organic matter? No. if yes ....
please add more specific information about the characteristics of this bio-sulfur and its supporting literature
I apology, I have changed and corrected, please see the yellow text in the “1.
Introduction”.
MATERIALS AND METHODS
Need to add information:
1. Research time
2. Fertilization treatment needs to be explained about "standard of fertilization" (nutrient content, dosage etc.)
3. the applied waste sulfur dosage
4. add information on the form of waste sulfur .... liquid or granule?
I apology, I have changed and corrected, please see the yellow text in the “2. Materials and Methods”.
1. Soil ? has been changed
2. need information on the soil chemical and physical properties were used as a planting medium
3. Please to inform the dosage of SP36, KCl and urea fertilizers.
4. Please to inform the dosage of sulfur, manure, SP36, KCl and urea fertilizers
5. In this field research, there must be information on the layout design or experimental design and the use of statistical data analysis.
I apology, I have changed and corrected, please see the yellow text in the “2. Materials and Methods”.
RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
1. Soil chemical analysis data is needed after the treatment application so that you can correctly state that the soil fertility is good. Please see the “2. Materials and Methods”
2. please explain how the specific function of sulfur on plant assimilation and metabolism so that the dry weight of plants can be significantly increased
I apology, I have changed and corrected, please see the yellow text in the “3. Results and Discussion”.
3. Because you did not include data on soil nutrients from the soil where you were researching, please provide literature from the journal about nutrient balance in soil and its absorption .... to support your statement. Data tanah ada pada sub metode penelitian.
Please see the “2. Materials and Methods”
4. please provide a plant physiological explanation of ....how the dissolved-N organic and nitrates can affect tuber production ....and please include journal literature supporting your statement.
I apology, I have changed and corrected, please see the yellow text in the “3. Results and Discussion”.
5. In this statement you are stating "a poor status of nutrients" My advice: you did not data on soil chemical properties, so you shouldn't have to statement about soil fertility or soil nutrient status. Please see the “2. Materials and Methods”
Reviewers' comments (Rev_PCBMB_8228_Bis_Udo):
The title and subsections should be lower case capitalised first letter of the major words.
