He is an Assistant Professor Level –II in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam, Tamil Nadu. He obtained 2nd Rank in his post-graduation in Computer-aided design (2011) from Mahendra Engineering College, affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in the field of friction stir processing at Anna University, Chennai. He is having 3 years of industrial experience and 10 Years of teaching experience. He is the author and co-author of 10 research articles in international refereed journals, 03 patents filed, and more than 15 conference contributions in the field of Friction stir processing, welding, and Tribology of composite materials. He has been reviewed more than 10 review articles in peer-reviewed Journals. He became a lifetime member of the Indian welding society (IWS) and the Institution of Engineers (India).

He is an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Vellore Institute of Technology Vellore, Tamilnadu. He obtained his post graduate degree in Welding Engineering (2002) from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli and he received his
Ph.D in Welding Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in 2013. He is having more than 18 years of teaching experience in various reputed Engineering Colleges in and around Tamilnadu and Uttar Pradesh. He is the author and co- author of more than 50 research articles in international refereed journals and more than 20 conference contributions in the fields of welding and composite materials. Much of his work has been on improving the performance, design and applications of metal joining and composite materials. In addition to that he has been reviewed more than 15 review article in the peer reviewed journals. He has given numerous invited talks in the area of Welding and Composite Materials in various reputed engineering college in Tamilnadu. He became a life time member of Indian Institute of Metals (IIM) and The Institution of Engineers (India) since 2017.
