The research in which you are about to participate is designed to assist the pastor of the Vietnamese Baptist Church in Savannah, Georgia, in developing an evangelism technique to facilitate church growth and assist the congregation in understanding the second
generation and the adolescent members of the church. Pastor Truc Phan is conducting this research in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Doctor of
Ministry at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. As part of this research, you will be asked to reveal some of your beliefs and perceptions of the Vietnamese Baptist Church, missions, evangelism, and church growth as well as your knowledge of the second generation. Any information provided will be held in strict confidence. Your name and responses will remain anonymous. Your participation in this study is voluntary, and you are free to withdraw at any time. Please read each item carefully before you respond. There is no “right” or “wrong” answer. By completing the interview process and signing your name below, you are giving informed consent for the use of your responses in this research. You are not obligated to give your name.
