CHAPTER III METHODOLOGY OF THE RESEARCH
A. Findings
This research aims "to improve teachers' ability in developing English teaching materials through training of digital English story design." Where is the research target that: (1) Teachers' able to search and download pictures independently. (2) Teachers' able to record audio independently. (3) Teachers' able to design digital English story by Kine Master Application independently.
The steps taken by the researcher in this study were to do a pre-test To know the ability of participants with English language test material with TOEFL equivalent, and then enter into training materials, observation and interview.
Cycle I a. Planning
1. Teachers' able to search and download pictures independently.
a) At the beginning of the activity, the trainer introduces and reviews examples of Digital Storytelling made by teachers of various levels and subjects.
b) The trainer gives examples to choose a good theme.
c) The trainer practice way to choose a good script story.
d) The trainer practice way to searching pictures about script stories.
e) The trainer gives examples to download and save pictures in documents.
f) The trainer practices way to open documents.
g) The trainer gives examples to send pictures by Whatsapp.
h) The trainer gives examples to download pictures by Whatsapp.
2. Teachers' able to record audio independently.
d) The trainer explains that record audio with a good pronouncing and high-pitched voice.
e) The trainer practice way to record audio by smartphone.
f) The trainer gives example to save the recording.
g) The trainer gives example to open the recording.
3.Teachers' able to design digital English story by Kine Master Application independently
a) The trainer gives instructions to teachers' for downloads KineMaster Application firstly.
b) The trainer practice way to use KineMaster Application.
c) The trainer practice insert all pictures to KineMaster Application.
d) The trainer practice insert recording to KineMaster Application.
e) The trainer practice way to cut pictures, speed up and slow down pictures and adjust to recording.
f) The trainer practice inserts text in the story.
g) The trainer gives example way to end the editing process and save the digital story on the smartphone.
h) The trainer practice publishes to youtube, with log in to youtube applicatio firstly.
b) Implementation 1.Choosing theme Meeting 1:
Meeting 1, the teachers still get directions from the trainer; the teacher cannot work independently and takes a long time to complete one stage. Can be illustrated in the following extractions :
Meeting 2 :
Meeting 2, the teachers still received direction from the trainer, were able to work independently, but there are still questions, and it did not take a long time to find the theme of the story. This can be illustrated in the following extractions :

Meeting 3: The trainer no longer directs the teacher; they can work independently, starting from turning on the computer, opening Google, and typing the story theme. It does not take long to find the story theme.
2. Choosing a picture Meeting 1:
Meeting 1, the teachers still get directions from the trainer, the teachers are some trouble in choosing the right images to include in their digital stories, and it takes a long time to complete this stage. This can be illustrated in the following extractions :

3. Recording Audio Meeting 1:
Meeting 1, teachers still get directions from the trainer, and teachers record the voice repeatedly. It is because it has Spelling and intonation errors. The teacher's voice recordings are not very good because the room conditions are crowded and not soundproof. This can be illustrated in the following extractions :
Meeting 2 :
Meeting 2, teachers still get directions from the trainer, teachers can record sound correctly and adequately, without being repeated, and it does not take long to complete this stage.
Meeting 3 :
Teacher : ―kalo tidak bagus hasilnya perlu diulang kah..?

Meeting 1, teachers get directions from the trainer. The trainer explained with detail and repeatedly, the teacher cannot work independently and takes a long time to complete this stage. Can be illustrated in the following extractions :

c) Evaluation
After the researcher conducted training on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, the data showed that the teachers had some difficulties. Start by searching and find a picture, edit a video and publish it on youtube. The

The researcher decided to return to guide the teacher, So the researcher continues to meeting 2.
After the researcher conducted training on Wednesday, February 24th, 2021, the data showed that the teachers still received direction from the trainer. The teachers still can not work independently, mainly when editing videos in the kine master application. The data showed that the digital story design does not achieve a target as described in the research objectives. The researcher decided to return to guide the teacher, So the researcher continues to meeting 3.
After the researcher conduct training on Wednesday, March 3th, 2021. the data showed that The teachers could work independently, even though some ask questions to ensure they are doing it right. The data showed that in meeting 3, the digital story design had achieved a target as described in the research objectives. Where is the research target that:
(1) Teachers' able to search and download pictures independently. (2) Teachers' able to record audio independently. (3) Teachers' able to design digital English story by Kine Master Application independently.
After conducting the action in cycle I with three meetings, the researcher concluded that the digital English story design training needs extra time to make teachers proficient and work independently. The
digital story design training has achieved a target as described in the research objectives, by three meetings in cycle I. So this research is only up to cycle I.
d)Final Product
Teachers' digital English story designs (products) in this training were every teacher have a digital story with the title Sangkuriang. The products can be accessed in
