adverbs of place and time, pure verbs, and progressive verbs. Students who complete this course are able to use correct sentence structures, particularly those that use TO HAVE form. After completing this course, students will be able to correctly rearrange random sentences.

THE USE OF CONCRETE MIXTURE (CEMENT MIXTURE ) IN CONSTRUCTION

A concrete mixer is a machine that evenly distributes cement and aggregates such as sand or gravel into concrete. The components are mixed in a typical concrete mixer using a rotating drum. Portable concrete mixers are frequently used to mix concrete for smaller volume projects. They can be manufactured on-site, providing workers with sufficient time to work with the concrete before it hardens. In construction, manually mix concrete. To transport manufactured concrete and ready-mixed concrete to construction sites, special trucks are required. They can be filled with both dry and

combined in this manner. The liquid mixture is retained in the concrete truck during transport by the drum's movement or rotation.

Combination of concrete. For industrial production of ready-mix concrete, and even more so for precast/prestressed concrete, the market today increasingly demands consistent homogeneity and short mixing times. This resulted in advancements in concrete mixing technology. Numerous styles of stationary mixers have been developed, each with its own inherent advantages, to serve distinct segments of the concrete manufacturing market. Today, the three most frequently used mixers are as follows:

• Twin-shaft mixers, which combine at a high rate of speed and for a short period of time.

These mixers are typically used for high-strength concrete, RCC, and SCC in batches ranging from 2 to 6 m3 (2.6 to 7.8 cu yd).

• Vertical axis mixers are the most frequently used type of mixer in precast and prestressed concrete.

This type of mixer is ideal for colored concrete, smaller batches (typically 0.75–3 m3 or 0.98–3.92 cu yd), and multiple discharge points. Pan mixers are losing ground to more efficient planetary (or counter-current) mixers in this category, as the additional mixing action aids in the production of more critical concrete mixes (color consistency, SCC, etc.).

• Drum mixers (both inverting and tilting drum mixers) are used to produce large volumes (3–9 m3 or 3.9–11.8 cu yd batch sizes).

This mixer is capable of producing a high volume of material.
