3. The Significant of students improvement Speaking Ability

Based on the finding above in applying Interactive Multimedia in the class, the data are collected through the test as explained in the previous finding section show that the students‘ speaking ability is significantly improvement. The data on Table 4.6 showed that that the value of the t-test (44.25) is greater than the value of the t-table (1.729). It means that there is a significant difference between the result of the pre-test and post-test of the students.

CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTIONS A. Conclusion

Based on the findings and discussion chapter, the researcher now can draw some conclusions as follows:

1. The improvement of the students‘ speaking accuracy through the use Interactive Multimedia at the eighth grade students of SMPN 2 Sinjai Selatan was 5.77 classified as fair.

2. The improvement of the students‘ speaking fluency through the use Interactive Multimedia at the eighth grade students of SMPN 2 Sinjai Selatan was 5.77 classified as fair.

3. The findings of the research statistically show that there is a significant improvement in the students‘ speaking ability in term of accuracy and fluency after being taught through Interactive Multimedia. It is indicated by the greater value of the mean score of the pre-test is (3.99) compared to the mean score of the post-test is (5.77).

46 B. Suggestions

Based on the conclusion above researcher propose some suggestion as follows:

1. The teacher should sometimes make the class as an English area or English classroom environment so that the students practicing their English during the classroom time in other to improve their speaking ability.

2. The English teacher can apply Interactive Multimedia as one of alternative media in teaching and learning process.

3. The result of this research can also be used as an additional reference or further research with different discussion for the next researcher.

Aisyah Amalia Putri was born on October 28th, 1992 in Sinjai regency. She is the first child from the marriage of her parents Ambo Hamid and Muliati. She has one younger sister and two brothers.

In 1992, she entered to Elementary school in SD Negeri 110 Jekka and graduated in 2004.In the same year she pursued her study at SMP Negeri 1 Sinjai Selatan and graduated in 2007. Then she registered in Senior High school, SMK Negeri 1 Sinjai Utara and graduated in 2010. She has just registered in Makassar Muhammadiyah University of English Education Department in 2010 too and graduated in 2015.
