A NEW NATALINE BAT FROM THE BAHAMAS.

While accompanying
theBahama Expedition
of theGeo-
graphical Society" ofBaltimore, Mr.
J.H. Riley obtained four specimens
of a nataline bat easily distinguishablefrom
the species hithertoknown. They were taken
inacave near Sandy
Point, atthesouthwest corner
ofWatlings
Island.The animal
may be known
as:Chilonatalus tumidifrons, sp. nov.

clouded with broccoli-brown.Ears light yellowishbrown, darkening at edges.
