The purpose of this study was to find out how students, especially English education students, prepare for the TOEFL exam at IAIN Parepare, and how the preparation of English education students in the 7th semester affects the TOEFL score obtained by the preparation made before the exam. The results of this study showed that, on average, more English education students had a TEOFL score of 450 than those who prepared before taking the TOEFL exam only obtained results from the relative TOEFL score.
