The character values must be contained in English textbooks with the 2013 curriculum and the character values must be present in the material in the textbooks. 9 Based on the findings, it was proved that the religious category in the English textbook is very important for the introduction of students, such as prayer before learning, reminder to worship, etc. The sentence in the textbook teaches students to talk honestly about whatever happened, the students apologized for being late as stated in the previous sentence.
