This study aimed to develop cue cards as a learning medium, especially in English speaking skills. This research is carried out at SMAN 2 Tanjungpinang class XI MIPA 8, which totaled 36 students as research subjects. The development model used is the Borg and Gall model, which in this study is limited to the Product Revision stage. The data collection instruments used questionnaires, validation questionnaires, and student practicality questionnaires. The results of the data analysis showed that the material validation score was 90% with "very good/very valid" and the media validation score was 98% with "very good/very valid". Then, the test score result of the practicality of the media is 80%. In conclusion, cue cards as learning media are very feasible to be used in the learning process and can increase student motivation.

Penelitian ini bertujuan dalam mengembangkan cue card sebagai media pembelajaran terkhusus pada English speaking skill. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 2 Tanjungpinang kelas XI MIPA 8 yang berjumlah 36 siswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu model Borg and Gall, pada penelitian ini dibatasi pada tahap Product Revison. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah questioner, angket validasi dan angket kepraktisan siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa skor validasi material adalah 90% dengan “sangat baik/sangat valid” dan skor validasi media 98%

dengan “sangat baik/sangat valid”. Kemudian, skor uji coba media kepada siswa untuk melihat kepraktisan media adalah 80%. Berdasarkan penelitian, cue cards sebagai media pembelajaran sangat layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran dan dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa.
