‘International Monetary Fund (IMF)’ and ‘The World Bank Group’ at Nusa Dua Hall, Bali. Complex sentence is a kind of sentence containing dependent clause and independent clause. In analyzing the data, the descriptive qualitative method is applied. The researcher herself and the official script of Joko Widodo’ speech were the instruments of this study. Joko Widodo was the subject of this study.
The data of this study were all complex sentences found in the Jokowi’s speech, it means that the source of data was the official scripts of Joko Widodo’ speech.
Steps of data analysis of this study were identification, classification, and description. The researcher found 6 sentences as the adjective clause, 3 sentences as the noun clause, 1 sentence as an adverb clause, and 5 sentences as the non- finite clause.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis kalimat kompleks yang terdapat pada Pidato Presiden Joko Widodo pada Rapat Paripurna Tahunan 'Dana Moneter Internasional (IMF)' dan 'Grup Bank Dunia' di Nusa Dua Hall, Bali. Kalimat kompleks adalah jenis kalimat yang mengandung anak kalimat dan induk kalimat. Dalam menganalisis data, peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Peneliti sendiri dan naskah resmi pidato Joko Widodo dan instrumen penelitian ini. Joko Widodo adalah subjek penelitian ini.
Data penelitian ini adalah semua kalimat kompleks yang terdapat pada pidato Jokowi, artinya sumber datanya adalah naskah resmi pidato Joko Widodo.
Langkah-langkah analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah identifikasi, klasifikasi, dan deskripsi. Peneliti menemukan 6 kalimat sebagai klausa kata sifat, 3 kalimat sebagai klausa kata benda, 1 kalimat sebagai klausa kata keterangan, dan 5 kalimat sebagai klausa non-finite.
