This research aimed to analyze the practice of Eliciting Technique in EFL classroom interaction at SMP Negeri 1 Uluere in the academic year 2018/2019.
The researcher applied Descriptive Qualitative method. The sample of this research was the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Uluere which consisted of one class of 16 students. The researcher collected data by using two instruments: the first were direct observation (observation checklist) to obtain data about the practice of eliciting technique took place consisting the elicitation technique of teacher and the frequency of students to asking or answer questions and giving ideas.
The second was questionnaire instrument to obtained data about the extent of Eliciting Technique influence the students’ participation in classroom interaction. This instrument was done by the students’. it was regarded by 15 statements asked.
The research findings show that there were a stimulations from teacher to students and positive feedback from the students. The finding also showed that in average the students had positive statements while there are only very few number of students have negative statements by analyzing the practice of Eliciting Technique in EFL classroom interction. It could be concluded that there were a positive influence in classroom interaction used eliciting technique.

Sri Yudha Sulastri, 2020. Menganalisis Praktek Teknik Elisitasi dalam Interaksi Kelas EFL (Penelitian Deskriptif di SMP Negeri 1 Uluere). Skripsi Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis praktik Teknik Eliciting dalam interaksi kelas EFL di SMP Negeri 1 Uluere pada tahun akademik 2018/2019.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Kualitatif Deskriptif. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XIII SMP Negeri 1 Uluere yang terdiri dari satu kelas berjumlah 16 siswa. Peneliti mengumpulkan data dengan menggunakan dua instrumen: yang pertama adalah observasi langsung (daftar observasi) untuk memperoleh data tentang praktik teknik elisitasi (pancing) yang terdiri dari teknik elisitasi guru dan frekuensi siswa ketika bertanya atau menjawab pertanyaan dan ketika memberikan ide.
Yang kedua adalah instrumen kuesioner untuk memperoleh data tentang sejauh mana teknik elisitasi mempengaruhi partisipasi siswa dalam interaksi kelas.
Instrumen ini dilakukan oleh siswa. Ada 15 pertanyaan yang diajukan.
Peneliti menemukan bahwa ada stimulasi dari guru kepada siswa dan umpan balik yang positif dari siswa. Dan juga penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata siswa memiliki persepsi positif sementara hanya ada sedikit siswa yang memiliki persepsi negatif terhadap analisis praktik teknik elisitasi dalam interaksi di kelas. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dalam interaksi di kelas dengan menggunakan teknik elicit.
