Ayam merupakan salah satu jenis unggas yang sudah sejak lama menjadi hewan peliharaan manusia, karakternya yang mudah beradaptasi dengan lingkungan baru menjadikan alasan ayam menjadi salah satu hewan peliharaan yang paling banyak dipilih baik sekedar untuk dijadikan sebagai teman bermain atau hewan ternak yang memiliki nilai jual yang cukup tinggi. Dibalik mudahnya adaptasi ayam di lingkungan manusia tak menutup kemungkinan ayam juga akan terserang berbagai penyakit yang kadang tanpa sang pemilik ketahui, Penyakit yang menyerang ayam sangat beragam dan seringkali gejalanya hampir sama. Oleh karena itu, peternak membutuhkan pengalaman tentang penyebab penyakit secara umum sehingga dapat membedakan penampilan ayam yang sakit dengan ayam sehat. Maka untuk mempermudah peternak / masyarakat yang masih bingung dan awam penulis mencoba mengaplikasikan kedalam sistem pakar berbasis android dengan tujuan untuk mendiagnosa penyakit ayam yang dapat di diindikasi menurut gejala fisik yang timbul. Aplikasi sistem pakar diagnosa penyakit ayam ini berisi pengetahuan pakar ahli/dokter hewan yang sudah diyakini kebenaranya dalam hal mendiagnosa penyakit dan gejala pada ayam. Metode yang digunakan adalah forward chaining, metode forward chaining adalah pelacakan kedepan yang memulai dari sekumpulan fakta – fakta dengan mencari kaidah yang cocok dengan dugaan / hipotesa yang ada menuju kesimpulan. Hasil uji menunjkan bahwa sistem mampu menentukan penyakit yang terindikasi berdasarkan gejala – gejala yang sebelumnya telah di pilih user.

Chicken is the most common type of poultry that has long been a human pets, the chickens will easy to adapt in a new environments, that the reason why most people are going to get chickens wether they keep chicken as their pets, or farm animal that have selling high enough. Chicken are easy to adaption with teir new environments but Behind that it might rule out the possibility the chicken will also be attacked by various deseases that sometime without the owners know, there are a variaty of deseases cause by bacteria and viruses, but the symoptoms that attacted are similar for all of them. Therefores, the chicken keeper need to know about the causes of the deseases in general, so they can distinguish the appearance of what chicken look like when their chicken migh be sick or health. So to facilitate breeders or the begginers chicken keeping , the author tried to apply into the expert system based on android to diagnose chicken deseases that can be indicated based on physical symptoms that arise. It will make eliminate the confusion of beginners when they diagnosing the diseases. so they know exactly what to do. The expert system programe contains knowledge of expert on polutry a well qualiified veterenian who have the right to diagnose the deseas and symptoms in chicken. The method use in this program is forward chaining , forward chaining is the method that tracking the force that starts from a collection all the facts and rules and sort them before concluding to a solution. The test results indicate that the system is able to determine the deseases indicated based on the symptoms. Simptoms that have previously been in select users.
