Open Auditions for 'American Doll'

Auditions for "AMERICAN DOLL," the first production of the AU season, will be held Sunday, Aug. 26, and Monday, Aug. 27, at 7 p.m. in the CD SMith Theatre, Miller Performing Arts Center. Callbacks will be on Tuesday, Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. All are welcome to audition!

These are cold readings to cast 7-9 women and 3-5 men in a play based on the lives of Barbie, Den, and the fashion doll industry. For more information, call Becky Prophet at 2255 or e-mail her at [email protected]

New faculty/staff meal plans

Dining Services is now offering two types of meal plans for Faculty and Staff to use on campus:

Block Meals - All you care to eat meals in Powell and Ade Dining Halls. Meals are good for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, during regular serving hours and are valid until May 12, 2008.

Block of 10 Meals - $50 Block of 18 Meals - $75 Block of 25 Meals - $100

Dining Dollars (DD) - Open an account of $50 or more and receive five additional Dining Dollars for every $50 purchased.

Purchase $50 and receive $55 in DD Purchase $100 and receive $110 in DD Purchase $150 and receive $165.00 in DD Purchase $200 and receive $220.00 in DD

Alfred University ID Cards

Purchase any plan of $50 Dining Dollars or more and receive an Alfred University ID card free of charge.

Not ready for a meal plan yet? Purchase an AU Identification Card for $5 and receive a free meal in Ade or Powell Dining Hall.

You can buy your meal plan and get an ID card at Powell Campus Center, Room 305 on Thursday, Aug. 23 and Friday, Aug. 24 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m You must know your Banner Number to have an ID card made.

Ceramics College medical insurance

The medical insurance deduction was taken out of this Wednesday's State processed paycheck. It will not be deducted from the Friday Banner processed paycheck as previously announced.

Also, after much discussion, it has been determined that employees will receive new insurance cards mailed to their home address. Should you have any questions, please contact Human Resources.

Faculty/Staff permits are now available

New Faculty/Staff parking permits are now available at the Office of Public Safety located in the Physical Plant Building. Permits are obtainable Monday though Friday from 8:30 a.m. - noon and 1- 4:30 p.m. This year we are unable to look up your vehicle information so please have your vehicle make, model, year and your license plate number with you when you arrive. Thank you for your

What jobs might you have?: Scoreboard, Announcing, Ball people, or other various jobs depending on the sport.

What do you need to have?: Work study, some exceptions for non-work study if specific knowledge is required.

The Athletics Department needs your help. There are a couple of weekends that there are multiple games going on.
