Faculty/Staff permits are now available

New Faculty/Staff parking permits are now available at the Office of Public Safety located in the Physical Plant Building. Permits are obtainable Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-noon and 12:30 p.m.- 3:30 p.m.

This year we are unable to look up your vehicle information so please have your vehicle make, model, year and your license plate number with you when you arrive. Thank you for your understanding.

ITS Helpdesk Office hours for week of Aug. 20

The ITS Helpdesk Office hours for the week of Aug. 20 are as follows:

8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. - Monday through Friday Noon to 4 p.m. - Saturday, Aug. 25

Please be aware that Herrick Library is not officially open until after the Opening Session on Tuesday morning (apx. 10:30 a.m.). Therefore, if you need assistance from the Helpdesk prior to that time, please call our office at 871-2222, or e-mail us at [email protected].

Herrick closed until Aug. 21

Herrick Library will be closed until after the University Breakfast on Tuesday, Aug. 21. Our construction is nearing completion, but there are still ongoing installations that will be in process next week.

Both the Library staff and the ITS staff have their phones and ocmputers hooked up, so please call us with your questions and problems. We will be able to respond to your concerns via phone or e-mail and can arrange to meet with you if needed.

Thanks once again for your understanding and your support during the completion of this renovation project.

AU Friday open house with Admissions

The Office of Admissions will host its last AU Friday on Aug. 17. Students and family members will participate in campus tours, interactive workshops and a Career and Development Center/Financial Aid workshop. We have welcomed over 100 families to campus the past two Fridays and we expect approximately 45 families this week.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. in the Powell Campus Center and the day will conclude around noon. If you have any questions, please contact Michelle at x2015.

Substantial student discount on Microsoft Office

Information Technology Services, in cooperation with the book store, negotiated a deal to provide students with the Microsoft Office software suite for $84. The Microsoft Office Suite normally retails for over $200. Students, you can take advantage of this offer at: http://www.journeyed.com/...

An evening of soccer with the Rochester Rhinos!

Join alumni, parents, and friends as the Rochester Rhinos take on the Montreal Impact. Come early to meet and greet the captains and coaches of the AU Men's and Women's soccer teams along with University Trustee Christine Pinto Kulp '71, and event hosts Greg Connors '92 and Jeni Wetzel Connors '94.

AU alumni attendees: Be sure to register at 7:15 PM to win an AU rocking chair! Drawing will be held at halftime.

Game Date: Friday, Aug. 24 Game Time: 8 p.m.

Want to watch AU sports & get paid for it?

What jobs might you have?: Scoreboard, Announcing, Ball people, or other various jobs depending on the sport.

What do you need to have?: Work study, some exceptions for non-work study if specific knowledge is required.

The Athletics Department needs your help. There are a couple of weekends that there are multiple games going on.
