Because of the statewide state of emergency declared by Gov. Andrew Cuomo to go into effect at midnight on account of winter storm Stella, Alfred University will be closed on Tuesday, March 14. Classes and activities will be cancelled.
Only essential personnel will be expected to report to work.
What does closing campus mean?
- All classes are cancelled.
- All activities are cancelled.
- Most campus buildings are closed.
- Students are not to report to on-campus jobs unless specifically requested to do so by their supervisors. For example, supervisor for dining services or public safety may request students to report for their hours, as scheduled.
- Ade Hall and Powell Campus Center dining services will be open regular hours.
- The Health Center will be open regular hours.
