Alfred University offering swim lessons for boys and girls 3/27/08
ALFRED, NY The Alfred University men's and women's swimming and diving teams will be sponsoring swim lessons for area boys and girls over a three-week period beginning Monday, March 31.The lessons will be held at Lebohner Pool in Alfred University's McLane Center, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from March 31 to April 17.
Lessons are being offered to children ages 4-13 in five classes: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. There will be three different time slots for Beginner (5-5:30 p.m., 5:30-6 p.m., and 6-6:30 p.m.), two slots for Intermediate (5-5:45 p.m. and 5:45-6:30 p.m.) and one Advanced class (5:30-6:30 p.m.)AU team members and coaches will assist parents in determining which level of instruction would best suit their child or children.The cost of the lessons is $50, which covers nine lessons. There is a family discount available when enrolling two or more children. Registration will be held in the McLane Center main level lobby Monday, March 31, at 4:30 p.m. prior to the start of the first lesson. The lesson fee is to be paid upon registration.
