Seniors Return Your Mailbox Key

Graduating seniors are required to return their mailbox key to the PCC Mailroom by Friday, May 17 to avoid a non-refundable charge. You must return it directly to the mailroom.

If you are attending Graduate School here at AU you must let the mailroom clerk know or your box may be re-assigned in the Fall.

The Powell Campus Center Mailroom will be on summer hours from 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., closing from noon-12:30 p.m. daily, beginning Monday, May 20. If you have any questions please contact the Mailroom at x2666.

Remember to Pick Up Regalia before Saturday

Graduates, remember to pick up regalia before Saturday! We are open 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday and 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday.

AU Bookstore Graduation Weekend Store Hours

The AU Bookstore will be open graduation weekend. Hours are Friday 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday noon-2:30 p.m.; closed Sunday. We will be at graduation Saturday morning from 8-10 a.m.

AU Bookstore May Store Hours

During the month of May (two weeks) the AU Bookstore will be open Monday - Friday 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m., closed weekends.

We will open Monday, May 20 at 8:30 a.m. for summer classes and close Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day.

Need Volunteers for Blood Drive - May 22

Community Blood Bank and the Human Resources Department are holding a Blood Drive in the Knight Club on Wednesday, May 22 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. and need some volunteers to help with registration and the snack table.

Community Blood Bank serves our local area and all donations received are provided, free of charge, to local hospitals like Jones Memorial, Wellsville. Your help with this worthwhile project is greatly appreciated.

Do You Know Your Numbers?

The Human Resources Department along with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York is

presenting a campuswide program called "Know Your Numbers." This one-hour presentation will take place in the Nevins Theater on Thursday, May 23 at 10 a.m. and is open to all AU faculty, staff, and the community.

The program tells you how your waistline, blood pressure, and total cholesterol count can affect your long-term and short-term health and how knowing your numbers can help you and your doctor take action to make sure you lead a healthy and long life.

This program is a precursor to a health fair we plan for early fall so come and learn how a little bit of knowledge can make a big difference.

Office & Procurement Services in Greene Hall has red, straight-cut, end tab folders available to anyone who would like them. We also have alpha and numeric labels available for the taking. Stop on by during normal office hours. Questions? Call us at 871-2483.

Classic Movie: 'Murder on the Orient Express' (1974) PG Monday, May 20 at 6:45 p.m.

This lavish all-star production of an Agatha Christie mystery novel is set in the 1930s on an elegant train with Hercule Poirot as the super-sleuth who always finds the murderer.

Stars include Albert Finney as Poirot, Lauren Bacall, Jacqueline Bisset, Sean Connery, and Richard Widmark. Ingrid Bergman won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in the film.

This library-sponsored movie is free and open to the general public.

Searching for a stolen magical bat to help Babe Ruth and the NY Yankees win the 1932 World Series, a boy travels across the country in this animated movie with a theme of perseverance. Voices in this G- rated film include William H. Macy, Raven-Symone, Whoopie Goldberg, and Robin Williams.

The library-sponsored movie is free and open to the general public.
