Calling All Engineers
Want an inside view into world-class manufacturing? How humans and robots can work together? How lean manufacturing/lean engineering works?
We have a unique opportunity to go "behind the scenes" and see BMW, Mercedes, and other German industries. Plus, absorb German culture and go to a German university and compete with German students in a manufacturing simulation.
All this and more will take place Allen Term 2017. If you are interested, come to an information session Wednesday, March 23 at 4:45 p.m. in Olin 308.

'Delicate Decisions' at Cohen Gallery
"Delicate Decisions" is a two-person show featuring the functional ceramics of recent College of Ceramics graduates Luc Hammond-Thomas and Jess Detweiler.
In her work, Detweiler employs a playful attraction to form, volume, color, and elegance. The still-life, genre style display evokes fantasies about future domestic use.
Hammond-Thomas' work acts on the fundamental relationship between pottery and furniture, and how this pairing further expands each material's function. The work embraces the latent duality of
functional objects as sculpture.
