Proposals for Workshops (H/EOP Leadership Conference)
If you are interested in or have already committed to conducting a workshop for the H/EOP Leadership Conference (the weekend of Feb. 15t, 2008) please send in your proposals as soon as possible.
The due date for proposals is Friday, Jan. 11.
Proposals can either be sent by campus mail or in person to the H/EOP Office in Myers Hall.

Drawing Florence: City as subject
This course will invite you to investigate the historic background and contemporary significance of Florence in relation to its art, architec- ture and culture. This five-week, mixed-media drawing course will teach students how to explore this extraordinary location as a subject, placing themselves simultaneously in a historical, geographic, and ex- periential context, through sensory observation and the development of a visual and written travelogue. Each student will engage in the production of a series of drawings that will reflect their individual experiences and research of Florence.

This study abroad opportunity can be used as studio credit to fulfill your Upper-level drawing requirement.

2008 H/EOP Leadership Conference
AU's H/EOP Program will be sponsoring this event as numerous schools from all over the state of New York come to AU's campus to participate in a number of unique and creative, leadership themed workshops. These workshops will be conducted by AU students, AU faculty and Staff, AU Clubs &
Organizations, etc.
Participation in the workshops during the leadership conference is free to AU Students.
There will be a fee for each dinner (2/15;2/16) and for the after-party on 2/16.
