The main focus of this study is to find out what imperative sentences are and what types of imperative sentence divisions there are, especially when the actors in the film give commands. The author chose imperative sentences as part of the thesis title because there are many types of imperative sentences based on their function. The author is interested in investigating what the actors in the Cruella film say and what type of imperative sentences are most often used by the actors in the Cruella film.
In the fifth grade online learning sessions that took place in a WhatsApp group, there were interpretations of essential sentences used by teachers. The reason why these sentences are classified as request-imperative sentences is because it can be seen from these sentences that there are many requests or expectations to do something. From the data above, there are 1 prohibition imperative sentences that can be seen from the sentences "Don't forget when you're done send me".
Finally, from the directions imperative sentences, there are three sentences that can be classified as directions imperative sentences “Write questions and answers under control!”, “We pray and read the Bible first.”, “We conclude today's lesson with a prayer”. In order to support the preliminary research mentioned above, the writer has added preliminary research data from the Cruella movie below to prove that there are imperative sentences as research objects in the Cruella movie. The writer discovers and uses the information presented above that imperative sentences have 2 functions, namely: Instruction Imperative sentence, Direction Imperative sentence.
The main subjects of the writer's research will be the actors of the movie Cruella, so the title is "Analysis of Imperative Sentence in Cruella Movie".

Element of Sentence
According to Rara, the subject is always contrasted with the predicate and the object in grammar. A subject can also be the noun equivalent that performs the action of a verb and must agree with the verb. A predicate is a sentence (or clause) component that gives the subject details and includes everything the subject does or is.
Therefore, a complete predicate consists of a base predicate and its modifiers and an object and its modifiers. For this reason, an expert refers to a statement that denotes an action or state as a predicate. According to Kusumawati, an element of a sentence that includes a verb or verb phrase and its commas or comma phrases is called a predicate.
Types of Sentences
It usually took the form of a noun phrase within a declarative sentence and was placed immediately before the operator. The four levels of complexity above simple sentences are simple, compound, complex, and complex-compound sentences. These sentences convey a complete concept, contain a subject and a verb, and the phrase "even more." Subjects of taking after basic sentences are written in italics, and verbs are written in bold.
A compound sentence is a sentence that connects two or more basic clauses with an appropriate conjunction or punctuation mark. The subjects of the following compound phrases are in italics and the verbs are in bold. A complex sentence has a subordinate clause such as since, because, after, although, or when, as well as a relative pronoun such as that, which, or who.
In the following complex sentences, the subject is in bold, the verb is in italics and the subordinate is in quotation marks. Compound and complex sentences may have been expanded into compound-complex sentences by adding increments to compound and complex phrases. Imperative sentence: an imperative sentence makes a request, command or invitation to an implied second person.
Declarative sentence: A declarative sentence is a sentence that makes a statement, gives information, offers an explanation, or communicates.
Declarative sentence: A declarative sentence is a sentence that either makes a statement, gives information, offers an explanation, or communicates
Interrogative sentence: one that makes a question and it ended with a question mark after the sentence

Kreidler makes a brief comment about the imperative, based on what he said, it is common practice to identify three sentence structures in English: statement, command, question, imperative, and interrogative. They are either imperative sentences (starting with You must..) or sentences starting with this structure. Positive and negative imperatives are the two main classifications that make up the imperative sentence type in English grammar.
Positive Imperative Sentences: The subject of the phrase is addressed by the use of affirmative verbs in these sentences. According to Downing, the imperative includes only the root form of the verb and does not include any modes, tenses, or aspects. The thesis defines an imperative as a structure that is the only basic example of a functional that is an expression.
Imperative sentences can take many forms, from extremely loud or harsh instructions to very delicate or polite pleas. Imperative sentences can also take the form of a command to do any action up to and including a prohibition to do any action. According to the Moeliono command, sentences are often used to instruct someone or more people to do something.
Sentence commands in the form of a request, including commands in the form of oblique requests. An imperative sentence always starts with the root or initial form of a verb, also called the verb word. It uses the verb one and the subject 'you' to ensure it can be understood.
When the plural uses a let, imperative sentences can end with a period (.) or an exclamation point (!) since the phrase immediately follows the imperative. There are three different theories that try to explain the function of imperative sentences; these are of Searle, Bach and Harnish and Alexander. Propositional content: The speaker makes a prediction about what the listener will do in the future.
Propositional content: The person who speaks makes a prediction about what the listener will do in the future
Preparatory condition
Sincerity: The speaker genuinely want for the listener to carry out the action
Essential: The speech is an effort to convince the listener to carry out the action based on the authority of the speaker
Components of Imperative Sentences
The structure of an imperative sentence focuses on the use of an imperative verb as the main focus of the sentence.
Imperative verb: An imperative sentence generally starts with the infinitive
Punctuation: Imperative sentences generally conclude with a period, although

The method used for this research is qualitative and the writer collects data in this journal using Alexander's theory. According to the data from the result of this dissertation, there were 68 different descriptions of imperative sentences in the movie "Up". The similarity of this study to previous studies is that they both use imperative mood as the subject of the study.
The difference between this research and the previous study is that in the previous study, the writer used two languages in the focus of the study and compared them, including English and Banggai language. The writer applied the research of many imperative sentence patterns in the movie Cruella through the field of descriptive qualitative research method. Therefore, the perpetrators of this research in this study were the actors of the movie Cruella.
In view of this, the author selected ten significant actors as the main test for. Because of this, the author collected and organized the data in a more methodical and uncomplicated way with the data collection tool. The author used observation and documentation techniques based on the film script to collect data for the research.
The following techniques were used by the writer to complete the analysis of the data. By focusing on this point in the process, the writer has paid close attention to the lines the performers say in the film. To simplify the data, the writer did this by converting the data into a sentence structure at this step.
Abstracting, in this procedure, the analyzed data consists mainly of imperative sentence functions found in the movie script. The writer provided data in the form of an analysis given in tabular format, making it easy to understand. One of the most important steps in this study is verifying the conclusions and drawing the results.
After conducting an in-depth analysis of the many functions of the imperative included in the script, the writer decided on this stage. The writer used the triangulation technique in this study to ensure the reliability of the findings.
