Discussion

The teacher should therefore explain the material clearly and use a teaching method that is suitable as GTM or peer teaching. And for students should pay attention to explanations given by the teacher, students should read any kind of grammar books, especially pronouns to enrich their ability to understand the language structure, and students should do all the tests or homework given by the teacher. The seventh grade students in SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Metro still made mistakes using pronouns in sentence.

The reasons why students make mistakes when using pronouns in a sentence are internal and external factors. An internal factor such as their interest is not considered by the given explanation. While the external factor such as the brief explanation of the guide and the teaching method, because how well the students understand the material depends on the teaching method used by the teacher.

Some suggestions are needed by the English teacher and students to prevent the students from making the same mistake and hopefully it is worth it. The teacher should give and explain the topic about pronoun in great detail, especially reflexive pronoun. The teacher should try some teaching methods that are suitable for the students so that they do not feel bored.

The teacher should give the test as much as possible, even if the students still make mistakes, they will find a new case and it will be very valuable for them. Students should read any kind of grammar books, especially pronouns to enrich their ability to understand the structure of the language.
