This research is about the relationship between the psychology of the students and the speaking performance of the students in the tenth grades of SMA N 2 Natar academic year, its purpose to investigate the relationship. The result of the research shows that psychology is one of the internal factors that the teacher must understand from the result score, say the students' psychology affects the speaking performance, this means that psychology has a connection with the students' speaking performance. between student psychology and speech achievement is a type of quantitative research that uses the value of student achievement distance and data from questionnaires and tests distributed to students in the class. This observation is used to obtain data on student activity, while the test is used to obtain student learning outcome data in speaking. The results of the data in this study indicate that between student psychology and speaking performance has a relationship that has a great influence on the learning process.

Students have three main reasons for speaking in class First, speaking activities provide training opportunities for students to practice speaking in real life in the safety of the classroom. Educational psychology is important knowledge for teachers to help students improve their learning in English classes.
Theoretical Framework
Based on the paradigm, we can see that if the students' excellent score means that there is a positive and significant correlation between students' psychology and speaking performance, then if the students have a flat score, it means that students' psychology and speaking performance have a flat correlation and if the students have a poor score, it means that between students' psychology and speaking performance does not have a positive and significant correlation.
HYPOTHESIS
Null hypothesis (Ho): There is no positive and significant correlation between students' psychology and their speaking performance in SMAN 2 Natar.

The location of the research conducted by the researcher is at SMA N 2 Natar on Jl. SMA N 2 Natar was built on 2011, at the time of the construction students studying in the SD N Pancasila. They take turns and for the students SMA N 2 Natar, the learning activities started at 1 pm after primary school went home. SMA N 2 Natar was inaugurated by the central government in 2012 and some buildings can be used, then the students occupy new buildings and start learning activities in the morning.
Pelman Sihombing as the first principal in SMA N 2 Natar and open the student registration for the first time with 60 students in total, then grouped into 2 classes of IPA and IPS with each class of 30 students in total in the next year the students started enrolling to grow to this year, the total number of classes reached is 14 classes. SMA N 2 Natar has instructors who are in line with their scientific discipline, so they hope to improve the competence of both the instructor and the students. There are 4 other employees 2 security and 2 school cleaning services and they are high school graduates.
The total number of students in SMA N 2 Natar is from class X – XII is 488, the data details as follows, in X the total number of students is 187, in class XI the total number of students is 158 and in XII the total number of students is 143. School Structure Organization is a group stakeholder that has the function of establishing, organizing and evaluating activities that are carried out in accordance with the set goal.

Description of Students’ Psychology
Each statement contains 5 answer alternatives that can be chosen by the students according to the existing conditions. The highest score that can be obtained in each point is 5, and the lowest score is 1. Based on the frequency distribution table above can see score 34 is a highest, a total of 5 students with a percentage of 13.5% and the score with the lowest is and 52 the frequency 1 student with a percentage of 2.7%.
Description of Speaking Performance
Based on the frequency distribution table above, we can see that the score 60 with the highest frequency is 19 students with a percentage of 51.4%. Meanwhile, the lowest frequency score is 80 with a total frequency of 4 students at a rate of 10.8%. The table description of the frequency distribution of learning outcomes above can be seen in the histogram below.

Based on the above frequency distribution table, we can see that the score 75 has the highest frequency is 13 students with a percentage of 35.1%. Meanwhile, the result with the lowest frequency is 80 with a total frequency of 9 students with a percentage of 24.3%.

In the process of analyzing this data, the data that is still raw is processed and then interpreted so that the proposed hypothesis can be tested for reality. Interpretation
Students who have problems with speaking performance due to fear or nervousness can be managed if the teacher understands the psychology of the students, as he can choose the right methods to use in the learning process. Proper handling by the teacher makes students express their thoughts through speaking and have the courage to perform wherever they are.

The students get more motivation to study and improve their performance in the academic field. After conducting this research, the researcher can add new insights and knowledge to be applied and develop existing knowledge for the better.
