ANALYSIS OF DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL STRATEGY ON SAGO REFINERY KETAM PUTIH VILLAGE

ABSTRACT
This research aims to analyze the Right Distribution Channel Strategy for the Sago Refinery in Ketam Putih Village because distribution is an important part to consider in running a business, for large and small businesses. The decision in determining the distribution channel strategy as well as the distribution channel to be carried out determines the smooth running of the distribution process so that it can provide benefits for the company and those in the distribution channel. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data obtained by conducting interviews, observations and documentation. The results showed that the Sago Refinery Ketam Putih Village implements distribution directly or indirectly and in carrying out its distribution activities it has implemented several distribution channel strategies. The best strategy that can be applied based on the Weighted Factor Value Method with total value 0,795 is the Sales of Products in Large Amounts to Other Companies (Distribution Channel Strategy 4) because it has effectiveness to reach consumers and get a high profit.
